        Its not that hard. In a screw kit there are only 4-5 size of screws. Get a new screw kit n see. Then take 1 sample of each to the bolt shop and ask for allen bolts. Make sure you get tvs ones.

        Try to make a t-wrench from a 5mm allen key to make things easier while fitting. Do not over tighten.

          Bibhu, any advantages here? Except for the easy head damage in Philips head?

            I did so cause my crank case was old. The mating surface was slightly damaged so the fit was not as clean as it should be with normal screws. Allen bolts provide a tighter fit preventing a leak.

            Plus they look cooler.

                • Front suspension making sound on my 1994 yamaha Rx-100

                  Hello xbhpians,my 1994 yamaha rx-100 front suspensions makes noise (like tak tak tak tak),when driven on bad roads or potholes, and the sound is very annoying,and this problem is from the day i purchased it,previously i thought that front brake drum plate is making this noise so i changed it but the problem persists, and now one of mechanic told me that the inner tubes of front suspension r the culprit and i have to change them if i want solve this problem of khatar khatar noise,he also told me that some of the models had this problem and later yamaha changed the inner tubes design,the tubes r costing my 3000/-rs., so what do u guys say,
                  The other thing i want to know is my bikes front fender needs replacement, i have read on this forum that to prevent fender from rusting the inner side of the fender should be coated with araldite, can i also go for rubber paint, or araldite is the better solution,how much araldite will be needed for the whole fender.

                    Is it me?...or its usual that the RX 5speed takes time to build revs untill it hits the powerband.
                    Because riding it fast requires me to keep it high up on the rpms. And it takes quite a while untill it reaches the powerband.

                      Guys fixed the con rod prob. now I have 2 questions.......
                      Can i install the pulsar 150 switchgear on my rx100 as I feel the need to have a pass button on my switchgear and plus I find all the ledsClick image for larger version

                        Technically it can be done by installing the bcu. And wires can be checked one by one to make the switch gear work. The flash needs to be connected to the high beam line. The kill switch connects to the cdi off wire from the ignition switch.

                        My suggestion, get a 5sp rx135 switch set which has flash and get a shogun/samurai kill switch. Dont spoil the classic lines by putting pulsar switches on it. It wld look out of place.

                          First of all thank you for your fast reply and No offence bhibu but I too like my bike in stock looks.....its just that I don't wanna keep it fully stock, and I don't mind a few changes in the looks....as far its not as extreme as installing a 200 NS headlamp Assembly on a rx100, that completely looks stupid........one of my friends has it.......but I have installed the pulsar 150 classic round dome instead of the rx100 dome because I feel that it provides a better focus.....
                          So i am ready to compromise the looks for my needs.....

                            No need to be so defensive brother. I was just expressing my opinion as a person who has been where you are now. Its your decision how you take that opinion. A motorcycle design is not modular in nature. The whole bike needs to gel together properly. A functional design upgrade like a disc or shorter bars etc are a different matter. Ultra Modern bits on a vintage bike look out of place.

                            Anyways. The switch sets would cost about 1500 or so total.

                              Agree with you but I will have to install the bcu from the pulsar as well and I think it will be a hectic task so I've cancelled the plans of pulsar switchgear and instead I'm thinking of the Yamaha enticer switchgear....that would be good I think.....

                                Get the 5sp switch set. Its a direct fit. Enticer/ybx switchgear wld need some cut n paste.

                                For engine kill u cld use a samurai kill switch.
