Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
Only the switch is available. But u wld need the throttle pipe of samurai.Originally posted by Shreyas Rane View PostDo i have to buy the whole throttle assembly of samurai for kill switch or just switchgear is available??
That can be used too. I prefer to use the samurai one due to the red kill switch.Originally posted by satishg View Postrecently seen someone using Boxer kill switch on a RX ?

Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
Dear seniors,I Had a Headlamp problem with my rx100 so i thought of converting my bike to full DC with the APE RR Unit.......
but due to some reason I couldn't do it,
I had previously installed the pulsar classic 150's dome and the headlamp's focus increased quite effectively,
But the problem was that headlamp was not quite strong as my p150.....
So i came up with a solution......
I didn't have a problem with the low beam as it was alright and the roads on which I Travel are Most of the time well lit.......
But the place where I Stay is full of idiots who don't know how to drive and I have to use flash on them to get them to go back on the correct side of the road....
what I did to tackle with this flashing problem was that I Connected the headlight's bulb's Pass wire to a switch and hooked up the other wire of the switch to the front break switch's wire
So now when I Press the pass button the headlamp is powered by the battery and is powerful enough for the front person to know that I'm flashing my lights....
Is this setup good or bad.......
I find it very useful.......
Your Opinions please people..............

Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
I'm not an expert when it comes to electricals.Originally posted by Shreyas Rane View PostIs this setup good or bad........
But I doubt the front brake cable wires couldn't handle the amount of current required to power the HL bulb.
I'm I'm not wrong, a direct proper gauge wire from Battery (through a relay triggered by pass switch. Input for pass switch can be tapped from any "Ignition ON" +ve) should serve your purpose.
Experts, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
Thats a good way to do it. A condenser would work better along with a relay.Originally posted by Mr.Boss View PostI'm not an expert when it comes to electricals.

Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
I did a setup similar to this few years back in splendor (sorry for mentioning a 4t hereOriginally posted by Shreyas Rane View PostI find it very useful.......

) I used a super splendor's self start switch for the pass function. One wire connected to black line and another to high beam line. Working fine for more than 2 years

This is the schematic circuit.Originally posted by Shreyas Rane View PostSo I should provide the connection directly through the battery???
and place a switch on the new +ve wire which goes on the HL for pass function??
Please advice where the condenser to be added in the above circuit.Originally posted by Bibhu View PostThats a good way to do it. A condenser would work better along with a relay.
