Please advice where the condenser to be added in the above circuit.
No idea brother. I am not very good with electricals. However it us common practice to add a condensor to a light line to facilitate quick and effective lighting.

Btw: mr. Boss, i put in the 2t float in my 2t tank as you had shown. Thanks for the idea. It was brilliant.

          1. Powder coating is best option for corrosion resistance. Be it powder coating or painting, quality and life depends on the painter's skill
          2. Read in some other thread about using M800 reflectors in RXZ (will search for the link and post if possible)
          3. Should be possible, but never seen in detail.
          4. Buffing is a kind of polishing the existing layer of metal and Chroming is platting an additional layer.

              Hi Seniors,

I am new to the site. Have bought a RX 135 (2003 make) from one of my friends. The bike has logged in 26K till now. Iam extremely happy to own a RX which used to be a dream during college days. The bike is in a good state except rust marks in the tank and on the rims. I have a few queries and request the seniors to guide me.

              1. Can somebody suggest a reliable/good RX mechanic at Hyderabad? Somebody who can be trusted and is an expert in the job.

              2. How to remove the rust inside the tank? Is there any way out or i need to change the tank? Any mechanics who specalise in rust removal works. New tanks are not available with the dealers. I also checked out with one dealer near Lalbagh rd, Bangalore. He had a similar tank but the colour and stickering was different. The paint has peeled off at couple of places on the tank body, however the area is negligible. Pls suggest where can i get a new tank either at Bangalore or Hyderabad.

I apologise if my queries sound repeatative to some of the members..

              Pls help.

              Regards
              Rahul

Ridding the tank of rust is the most difficult of things to do and in my opnion, not worth doing. You can try sourcing POR-15 and then cleaning the tank with it or go for some other tank cleaning solution. For my RX100, I used a solution made by Anand CIS industries in Delhi. The results were below expectations.

Electrolysis seems to be a good option if you can do it. Google it.

If you can find a NOS tank then nothing like it. If this is your long termer then its worth it.

Had this doubt for a long time, Will running the 2T Oil pump without Oil damage the internals?
Though this question is common for other 2 strokes too, I'm bothered about my RX.

Yes - Dry running the pump shall lead to catastrophic failure of the component.

Dry running the pump would cause damage to the engine as well, if the 2t pipe is still connected to the carb.

You can clean the tank using caustic soda. But it might make holes in the tank if the plate is too thin. After cleaning use por15 to coat the inside. If you can find por15 that is. Zinc plating will be washed away in petrol n 2t.

I have seen the newer tanks are coming with zinc plating, so will there plating will also be eaten up by petrol, if yes then is there any concrete solution to prevent your tank from getting rusted or you have to live with it.
