    Might be a compression issue or your afr might be off.

      hi, on my Rxz number plate(default setup) is getting in contact with front mudguard whenever it passes through humps, can somebody let me know what could have been wrong. and suggest the solution. thanks.

        hi ,
        For the RX 100 2 T oil-pump leakage problem Check oil seal / gaskets of pump,bedding screw,Mounting flange.Main body. Mine Jan '91 RX 100 , 2T oil pump had a
        leakage problem,Purchase OIL SEAL SET / SERVICE KIT,Got oil seals / gasket replaced,cleaned .Yet to remove the leakage oil pump & install the recondition oil pump will know the result.
        The RX 100 has a very reliable oil pump if proper care taken,

          Yamaha rx-100 cylinder compression

          Hello,i have an 1994 yamaha rx-100,recently when i checked its compression i found it down from 150 to 130,so i changed its piston rings,my bike is running on 2nd o/s,how much of vertical play and side play is accepted in the crank,my mechanic even suggested me that rather going for 4th o/s piston ,a new 2nd o/s piston in the current bore plus repair of crank will do the job better,so what r ur expert opinions friends.

            Hi friends,

            I really need some guidance from you guys.I have a friend of mine who owns a rx-z 4 speed with a second over size bore and rest kept stock. He is planning for a performace mod that would cover below 10k. The problem we are facing is that we have a good mechanic and a good lathe works for doing the job but not enough knowledge. I know about 4 stroke porting and don't have any idea with the 2 stroke porting process and also about cylinder head clearance mod that would increase power. So is there any way that you friends can help me with the process and maybe calculations.. Have anyone done this kind of work more like a DIY. I would like your help. @Bibhu sir could you please share you thoughts too. I don't think you would mine

              Get a 5sp head and bigger carb. If your ledh guy can mod the 4sp head to 5sp squish even better as it would be cheap. Try to locate a vm24 or 26 carb. Porting, you have to find some guy who has experience. Need some good port maps too.

                  what must be my word to the lathe guy to squish the head. squish is like increase the surface area right?

                    Squish is basically the shape of the cumbustion dome which affects compression and flame front propogation.

                        I ment the squish band. The 5sp head has a wider squish band. The band thickness is less as well.
