Cleaned, actually (@Sarin chettan, Bibhu and Mr.Boss).With thinner!.The outcome is pretty decent.Couldn't take a pic as i didn't have a cam. Will surely post the pic by the time i come back from the workshop. The work is going to start by 3.00 PM today. Will be starting the bike today. The petrol tank decals and clear coat still to be done. Its far from "picture worthy".Thats why didn't post any pics. Will surely post the report and pics by night. This may be the last day of assembling. Can't wait to hear the sound.Sure its just been a month, but seems its been ages.

Are you going for the 'twin golden lines' decal? If so, have you got the OE stickers?
Curious whether the sticker come in 2 pieces (LH + RH) or 4 pieces (LH/RH-TOP, LH/RH-Bottom)

My internet connection went kaput, guys!.Really really sorry, there was nothing i could do(Thanks to the periodic maintenance).Phew!!

Things have been on hold for 2 days now.Started the bike on Wednesday evening. There was work on Tuesday and Wednesday(25th and 26th) and things have been on hold for 2 days now(Due to Shivrathri and the mechanics never ending personal commitments,or so they say!).Was really excited about the prospective that i would be getting the bike all ready by Saturday(Thats today!).Couldn't do it because of the absence of work on the last 2 days.

Let the pics speak

Posting pics of DAY 3 AND DAY 4

I cant put up pics as i dont have them. I get my decals made. Try posting a querry on fb rx pages. Here in cuttack every type of rx decal is available, even the special edition 100 decals, apart from the 100 twin lines.

Is this the special edition RX100 decals?.I recently talked to a fellow-biker who recently got his RX restored in a Y.A.S.S. They did all the work from sourcing the parts to the final touch up.He had changed the fuel tank, and the after a month's wait he got this type of tank.

He says its imported, shed some light on the topic:-

Few rx which was sold in overseas market had this type of decals in tank even the last batch of RX 100s had the tanks similar to this....

But this tank is not imported may be some dealer would had this in stock

ON THE ROAD-FINALLY!
---------------------------
The day started early.Spent some quality time on the forum.Called up my mech and he told me he'll be taking taking the tank for the decals to be done.Told me he'll be arriving by 12.00 o clock.Today was probably the first time,he kept his word.Came by 12.10.The tank was half done(Decals and clear coat pending) and i was impressed by the shade. Not the previous shade i had,a bit more "Not in your face" kind of blue!.I had decided to do the golden twin line decals on the tank(White twin lines were a bit more flashy than golden,i prefer more mellowed kind of shades).Till today morning i had no idea that the golden twin line stickers were available off the shelf in the market. Thanks to @Mr.Boss and @Bhibu for making me aware of the existence of the decal.Initially i thought i'll get it done at some local stickering shop, but for the sake of their advice(Mr.Boss and Bhibu) i decided to enquire about the same at the shop near my home, where i got all the spares i was looking for(The old stock wala).

And BANG,There it was.RX100,135,RXG,RXZ and God knows what not.Everything under one roof.Because of the advice of @Mr.Boss,I decided to go for NV brand ones:-

Then had to get it stuck on to the tank(Not posting the pic of the tank,,Surprise!)

Long story short, almost did close to 15 km to and fro on the scooter trying to find a stickerwala, one who was not "Not now,got lots of work to do" and "Staff who does the decals on leave".Finally found a guy who was willing to do if i came back after 1 and a half hours.Decided to go back to workshop and sort the minor stuff,Like fixing the rear footpegs, final wiring, horns etc.And by 4.30 went to sticker guy and got it done by 5.30(Again had to wait for his work to be over,WAIT-The word is no longer negative,so its okay!).

By best friend joined me and we were together while doing the stickers and on the way back got petrol for Rs.100/- and it was almost 6 o' clock.Today there was a annual religious festival in the nearby church and the procession was underway. It would pass by the workshop so we had to take a detour and travel 2 kms and then take left to get to the workshop.I just wanted to finish the work then and there!(Phew,i couldn't wait anymore!) so rushed to the workshop, fixed the petcock, the tank and the seat.

Finally the two mechs did a short test drive and decided to take it to the paint shop today for the final touchup and the clear coat to be done.I have to wait now,as they told me its better to ride it after everything is completed(For Good luck). The bike is pretty much done now.The final touchup remaining.

Here is a teaser:-(You can see the procession underway in the background. Was the best time, festive atmosphere, firecrackers and my baby on the road!,Finally!)

Just came back from the workshop,"I'm tired boss, dead tired"(Like its said in the movie "The Green Mile").But couldn't wait to share the news with you guys.So got down to work as soon as i got home!

Hooo..waiting waiting!
