AGIP Fully Synthetic 5W40 for Gladiator.

Hi guys!!

I am intending to change the engine oil for my Gladiator to AGIP fully synthetic 5W40. As I am located in Chennai, i would like to know where i can buy this oil in Chennai. And also please let me know the approximate price per CAN for this oil.

Choice of Engine oil

Hello everybody. This is my first post in this forum, I presently own a Splendor NXG bike (Alloy Wheel & Self) at kolkata. However I am very much confused with the engine oil recommended by HH and want to change my Oil. I personally prefer Shell AX 5 10w30 engine oil but it is not readily available in Kolkata, my second choice is Servo 4t Zoom or Servo Goben which is readily available, please advise me. Presently after clocking 1600 km I am getting an average of 47.5 kmpl. Please shed some light.

Better Engine Oil

Could you guys suggest a better engine oil to my R15 done with 3k kms , only 3 months old

and can u guys clarify difference between mineral / semi synth / synthetic oil ?

hey guys can you tell me that Caltex GS 4T is a semi synthetic oil or a mineral one. Is Caltex worth for R15, currently using Motul Semi synthetic.

Synthetic vs Mineral Oil

Hello ppl,

Can somebody tell me what are the advantages of a Synthetic Oil over a Mineral Oil other than the "long oil change intervals" for Synthetic Oil? Please explain it in simple Bhasha(language) as i am a noob when it comes to oils

Simple basha mein:
MIneral oils are oils in which the molecular arrangement is not similiar(ie irregular Sized molecules)

Synthetic oils are oils in which The molecular arrangement is uniform( ie uniform sized molecules)

Since the Molecular size is uniform, the resistence to friction is more in Synthetic oils .Hope this pic will give you some understanding.
