      Hello everyone,

I am about to buy Duke 200. Which helmet should I look to buy (orange / black) color would fit fine. But there are several brands on amazon and I am getting kind of confused. My budget is around 2.5-3.5K but can spend up to 4K if required.

This is the one I liked: Vega Off Road Motocross Helmet (Dull Black, M): Amazon.in: Car & Motorbike has highest reviews plus a cap like structure at the top so can protect against sun as well.

But I have glasses. Would this helmet be comfortable in glasses? Or if you have any other good suggestions please let me know.

      Thanks so much!

Raise your budget by some more if possible. Else Kranos helmets are your friend. Vega helmets may look good, but they're not strong enough.
Plus, these motocross helmets are unsafe. They won't protect your lower face during a fall.
        Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Okay Divya, let budget be put aside could you let me know which helmets are good and will look cool on Duke 200 I can spend up to 6-7K as well. But that is the highest I could spend at this point of time.

          Thank you!

If you are okay with the tight fit, then go for MT Revenge. It's the only 5 star SHARP rated helmet available in India within 7k. I believe it is available in some orange graphic options too. I was going for that too but opted out as the tight fit would be bit uncomfortable for me for daily use of 50+ kms in city traffic.

Firstly, the type you had chosen is a motocross type, which are off roading helmets. Avoid those as they don't protect you too well.
Seeing you're giving a 6-7k budget, you do have a lot more options.
              1. In 2k range, Studds Shifter is very well known.
              2. MT: Check out Spartan ProGear, and note the authorised sellers in your city and buy only from there.
              MT Axxis INR 4750
              MT Blade INR 6250
              MT Revenge INR 6750
For sun protection you can even get an iridium/smoke visor .
              3. Kranos: These too are available via SPG, and come in the 3k range.

Avoid Vega and LS2, LS2 especially as there are lot of problems with fake helmets.

I would suggest something in MT as those are the best value for money helmets you get in this range. I've used Axxis and Revenge, and I would go for either blade(More comfort) or revenge(Additional 5 Star SHARP safety rating).

Tight bhai. Proper tight with ear pain over long durations. It's good for track use but daily commuting k liye bit too much.

Agree. There are certain helmets whose shell won't fit you no matter what. Replacing ear and cheek padding (with other sizes) doesn't help either.
But like bikes; most helmets need a run in period. Say, about a week of usage. The pads take the shape of your face. That's why we buy absolutely snug fit helmets because 10 days down the line, they would have thinned out by an mm or more, leaving enough breathing space yet remaining snug fit.

the clear / iridium visors cost around 2.5K-3K i had called them and checked. Google them and call their number.

I would suggest you to get the extra spare visors from US as well. I did the same for myself.
                      Cheers.

I understand that. That's why I took the decision after consulting with Revenge users and dealers. All suggested a more comfortable option for daily use. The blade didn't cut it for me as it has SHARP 3 stars only. Best option was the MT Matrix. Lightweight, and it also comes with an Air pump so if the padding thins out, it can be firmed up suitably

                          Hi Divya,

The helmet we discussed are not available on Snapdeal. I need to buy from Snapdeal.

I seem to like this one: https://www.snapdeal.com/product/ls2...Helmet%20FF352

But I am not sure whether it has clear visor or mercury visor. The description says plain visor but the photo is of tinted visor. Are these helmets have tinted visors or do I have to accept them as they come?

                          Still confused

Well, you can see the helmets we mentioned here - https://www.spartanprogear.com/collections/helmets

Also, avoid LS2 for now. Because we have documented proof that LS2 sold in India are just Chinese/local copies; replica helmets.
