Further, the air pump thing you mentioned is that in one of the ls2 models.

sol dealership in pune..cool..when and where will it be available?

How do you think the price quoted there is ? and also does anyone know about the service.?
PRS/Vicky is reliable. For the same price id suggest you Sparx over the KBC VR1/VR1x Models.

About CROSS..they use the same shell and designs of LS2.they are basically the same.their Visors and i guess even the Liners are interchangeable.and they are manufactured in the same plant.

Is this a good helmet? I am not aware
K3 is considered to be one of the best in its price range.

SOL : Haven't used so wont comment
Nuvo : Quite vented when compared to LS2 but a little heavy for long rides.
LS2 : Using diamond for the last one year, it lacks the ventilation that we want for Delhi summers, otherwise total vfm.
AGV : Are you kidding me AGV in 5K??? If you are referring to MPA AGV (Indian Manufactured) the previous three are better option.

IMHO, SOL (SL68s) provides the best ventilation among its peers...Plus fits in your budget...

I would suggest you stay away from *********. I had a pretty bad experience shopping with them. They dont always ship what they advertise. I ordered a couple of scale model cars based on the description and picture that they had put up but they sent pieces from a totally different series instead. The helpline makes a mockery of the word helpline. Vicky picked up my call the first time and after I explained the situation he never picked up my calls again. Even though I later dropped repeated sms's he didnt reply or return my calls. Only their email 'support' responded, saying that they cant help. Ive posted the details on the FB page as well. Very dismal customer interaction with what was supposed to be a 'reputed' website. For 8k I dont know if you want to go through the same hassle as I did.

                          • Yep. vicky dot in is a horrible site and they care two hoots about their customer.
I had ordered a scale model pulsar 220 from their site. When it arrived, it was all broken at multiple places. I took pics of it even before opening the package. Mailed the customer service the pics. After a few calls here and there and some email conversations later over the whole week. They said that they could refund only the cost of the model (Approx 400Rs) The shipping from their side and from my side to return back to them the model was another 350 -- which i was supposed to pay. Raised this point but they conveniently chose to ignore.
                            AVOID.

Pulsar 220 scale models are available for sale in most Probiking spares section. The only colour that I have seen is blue though.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

This was last year and bajajauto.com had a link to their site for the scale model. I think i should have looped in bajaj auto too.
