Thats a nice deal you got there. However i've lost count of how many lifetimes, years, months, weeks and days have passed since you have ridden with us. Join us for a ride soon or those boots will run away from you.


You'll be fine in a couple of days. The boots will break in within 2-3 days of riding. Pedal feel (gear shift lever and brake pedal) will be wierd so exercise caution. False neutrals might occur, dont worry. It'll be fine once you get used to the boots.

Lol, unfortunate but true. I need to get my bike serviced ASAP and get back to weekend riding. Ill also keep my fingers crossed that work doesnt come up over the weekends as well !

Non waterproof one. I try and avoid too much biking in the monsoons so didnt go in for the other one.

i am planning to get the same shoes but couldnt decide on the size??how did you zeroed on the size you need,saw in few reviews that we need to order one size extra than out normal shoe size.

Thats what I have heard too but fortunately I managed to try out a pair before ordering. Its my same size & not a size larger and is a perfect snug fit. When it comes to riding gear (helmets / jackets / boots / gloves) I would strongly recommend to everyone to try out and ensure proper size before ordering. If that is not possible then go with the guidance from the internet (in this case one size larger).

I was looking at RJays and Axo boots. Are these available at Orion?

Started riding with them, feels fantastic. Gear shifting is such a pleasant experience now. They are pretty good to walk around in as well. Not sneaker comfortable but definitely a world apart from full length boots (which obviously offer much more protection).

I own RJays Octane. Its really a nice jacket. However before deciding which jacket to buy think about the weather in which you will be wearing the jacket. There are a few types like testile, mesh etc. For me for Mumbai's hot and humid weather - mesh is the best option. So I got RJays Octane. Get one for yourself accordingly.

Check this for the sizing mapping:

We use the English sizing in India (eg. Bata).
For the purpose of ordering riding boots, knowledge of your English & US shoe-sizes should suffice.

English to European (EUR) sizing is a bit complicated. Google around for charts.

Orion stocks RJays, courtesy tie-up with Bachoo Motors. Have seen the RJays boots there in the past, but not Axo.

its worth only if its an original one, if you are looking for a VMF stuff and if you can stretch yr budget till 3.8k then better go for scoyco jk17.

I found the same one for 750 in grant road. but alas! I had already bought it from Bachoo motors for 1200 a month ago.

in AH Helmets 1 last stock of axo is still left. but I also found a scoyco product. it was awesome !!!!!!!!!!! costs 2500 but quality, fit & finish was damn excellent. I wisj I had the money to buy another pair og elbow & knee guards
