hii everyone. i have a hid projector installed in my thunderbird. today evening when i took my bird out n switched on the head light it glowed for a few seconds n then got off. this thing continued for 3-4 times n finally after riding for another km wit only the angel eyes only, it started to glow continousely. need help on this bike gurus

i have CBR 250r STD ,,, and i want to install HID ,, because the Stock Light is not enough for me ,, So what all i Need ,,or If some1 could tell me Where i can get it done In Delhi ,, Will be appreciated
I'm afraid about the fairing of Bike ,, that once opened it could not sit correctly like its now ,,,,
so any1 done this or can suggest a good mechanic Who has experience

either relay or ballast has gone kaput.

hey guys i need help from you all. I want 2 have the alloy neons in both the wheels like the Stuntmania bikes in my pulsr 135!(The light that is placed in the alloy cavity at the left side ) But i can only get neon stiks available in kolkata for rs 240/- a pair which can only be adjusted in the back panel! the want those wheel mods any how! please help!

You can try Good 55/60W Bulbs like Philps Extreme Vision 55/60W which is better than the OEM 55/60W.

The RHS pilot LED fused. pulled it out and saw one of its terminals was burnt and broken in half. hope soldering another piece of wire to it will help. it was a 5smd led. help needed because I couldn't find it in the market

Headlamp Bulb For Apache 180 ABS

What is the bulb best for the APACHE 180 ABS, the bike is built-in DC. So, in case of high power bulb it may drain the battery too fast...
I don't find the stock headlamp good enough in dark ...

thanx mate for the suggestion. one more problem, my h.i.d is getting dimmer day by day. what might be the problem?

although it is never a bad idea to check for loose connections, usually when ballast or relay fails, it shows similar signs, a few hiccups, then fine again for few days or even month, then again hiccups (bigger) then again fine for some time, till it finally gives up.

also check your fuse box for any carbon deposit.

for HID dimming, some amount of dimming does happen with age, but check your reflector closely, it may have faded away, is your HID of poor quality?

I have an RTR Fi 160 with AC/DC setup. If i convert it to all DC then what will happen while riding with headlights off? Will the battery overcharge?
And would it be wise to do this conversion considering the presence of ECU system in FI?

are you sure about the DC thing. Because afaik, all RTRs have headlights and pilots running on AC. Not sure about ABS. Check again. But if it is indeed DC, then you can directly switch to 35W Bixenon HIDs. But it will be most effective with projectors only. In stock reflectors, the HIDs will be a REAL nuisance in terms of glare for oncoming traffic.

Once the battery is topped up, it wont take more charge to it. Leave all these to your new RR, it will take care of it much worries.

Armed with a ECU & FI system, its lil tricky to change the electricals, it may work fine as both these systems require DC but cant make sure that 100%. Being its new one, it will be a trial and error method of troubleshooting.

HID focus issue

HID is installed in my P220 as the high beam but it is not working fine. It usually points to the sky leaving me blind on the road. Please do suggest what I can do with the HID or simply replace to original 55W halogen socket and bulb.
