            • @All: Those who have opened up the headlamp assembly of R15/P220, please guide me on how to do it&also fit it back. What is that paste used to make it moisture proof?
Reason: Attempt to install LED strips/DRLs.

                they use a silicon paste
with the help of a gun which has silicon tube holder on one side and makes the silicon tube melt into glue which helps in sticking the glass

they use this application in a wide number of fields

                      1. Best thing is to stick to stock wattage with better quality bulbs like Philips (Germany) will give better intensity. If u can sacrifice some of the console lights which are running on AC will add more power to the HL perfo.

                      2. Convert it to full DC and rule (SCREW) the road with a HID on stock reflectors

                      3. Full DC with 55W halogen but u need to think of an upgrade of ur battery.

One more, its very much possible if u know what u r doing. Get a Pulssar AC+DC RR old model and split the poles in 8 + 4 and re route. It will glow a 55W halo like a plasma tube without too much loading the engine. U r safe even if ur battery is flat

                      Choice is urs.

                          • I have a bullet standard 350 running on DC. I'd like to put a 3pin(P43T) type buld as there are very few options in the holder type bulb that is currently being used.
I'd like to know what dome and reflector and bulb socket is needed to be put to accommodate the 3pin type bulbs.

                            • I have a 2 month old R15 version 2.0. Not at all happy with the stock lights' output. Here are my pointers

                              1. Can i put projectors and install a halogen bulb in it? If yes of what spec.
                              2. projectors + HID's ? (not the pure white light types.)
                              3. only high wattage bulbs (no projectors) without tampering stock setup of battery and wiring harness.

Please advice. The bike will be up for second service this saturday.

P.S. I don't want to hamper the warranty of the babe.

To all those how-to-run-in-the-bike-oh-it's-so-confusing. Here's an advice.
Read and follow the OWNER's Manual. Keep it simple.. Old School technique will do more good than harm your bike

You wont get much difference by changing the stock bulbs to say something like Osram Nightbreaker plus (60/55W) or Philips Crystal Vision or Xtreme Vision (60/55w).
If you replace both the stock bulbs with 60/55w, you may face battery drain issue depending on the ration of daytime : night riding.

So best bet is to go for HIDs.

I have tried a lot of 60/55w bulbs before finally going the HID way.
