  • could anyone suggest me what type of hid(35w) should i buy for my honda dazzler and the mods i need to keep it reliable as stock (apart from dc conversion). Also my stock reflectors throw is very focussed properly. do any of the other dazzler owners face a similar problem?

    • poor headlight focus of my fzs

I own an fzs which is 50 days old and i am totally disappointed of its poor headlight focus... I am now in search of a better headbulb replacement (probably hid). I heard that fz batteries dont withstand heavy focus hids...is it true
      ? If not..which hid shoul d i opt for????
Even my budget is not so high....(1 to 1.5k)

1st try to get your headlight focus adjusted, a properly adjusted headlamp is good enough.

          • Good Light for Yamaha SZR bike

            Hi all,

i have a yamaha szr bike. the headlights are pathetic. in the dark the lights are ok but if there is a vehicle approaching from the opposite side then it impossible to see the road.
i tried going through all the posts but it is quite difficult to find out the answer which i want from so many posts. therefore can anybody please suggest me which bulb will be good for my bike. i dont want to make any modifications at all to my bike. but heard of Philips Xtreme and Osram Nightbreaker. but i am not sure if these will fit in my bike without any modifications.
my bike battery power is 12V,5 AH(10H) and the headlight is Halogen bulb (12 V, 35/35 W).
so can you please suggest if the above two will fit in my bike(without Mod) and if so please tell me the cost of the bulb in Bangalore (where to buy).

            • @ kiran gupta & sudipt24: first of all check whether your headlights are properly focussed.

if you still find it less than desired, you can opt for HID's. now-a-days it cost less than 2000 rupees

              • Guys, can anyone help me out with http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...tml#post832993

Also, any idea how much will a 35w HID consume initially? It'll settle down to ~3amps

                • Is it possible to convert apache to full dc using 180 abs coil and ape rr unit...? Will it be able to run a 55w hid all day without any problems....? The new apaches also have dc electronics.... So can it be swapped? Main objective is to run 55w hid without any hiccups...in a cheap and reliable method....

                  • 55W headlight bulb for Pulsar 150 DTSi UG2

                    Hello everybody..

I own pulsar 150 DTSi UG2 which have 35W headlamp bulb as standard fitment.

I want to upgrade this to 55W for better night vision.

Can I directly fit a 55W bulb or does it require any other modification?

                    Thanks in advance....

Guys, my friend has a plan to change his headlamps and go for the HID. The HID costs around 1.5k as per him. Is this the usual HID lamp and a small worry, will this damage the reflectors and all. Guys please respond to this doubt

                            • Another query. Just in case the HID (i.e. the bulb) goes kaput can we install a 55W halogen on the same setup i.e. the ballast/relays etc.or we have to remove the whole setup?
