coz the stock reflectors are no longer required to be "reflective".

      • HI All
As we already have this thread, not creating a new one for my query

This is the fourth time my headlight cowl has cracked (could be because of potholes or vibration in the fairing)
And i'm sick of it now. This was the 3rd headlight cowl in the last 2 years and 2nd in the last 6 months.

Now i want to know, What other option do it have. I don't want to change the look drastically.
Are the last gen Unicorns headlight cowl sturdier then this?

Note:- There are practicaly no potholes on the road i ride.

And I thought there is some technicality behind it.

It often takes a humiliating overtake to understand that an early jump off the red light won't help them lead the pact. All I want to say is - Go after green.

                • Some pics of my set-up.

The bike can support dual HIDs without any issue. But, I have used LEDs for the pilots.

Beam shots to come later - I have to align the beams perfectly.

                        nice.

i like the projector shrouds. where from?

are the sides of the projectors sealed so that there's no light dispersion?

any reason why u chose to leave the stock reflectors unpainted?

                        again... very nicely done.

waiting to see the final result.

I left the reflectors as it is coz I was not sure how it will turn out. Nope, no dispersions at all. And I have not sealed up anything. Its as shown in the below pics.

About the R15, I can say its phenomenal in many ways.

When I opened it up, I could see the attention to details to the various body parts as well as the wirings.

Its the same projector as found here.

As it can be seen, the projector bolts on to the reflector bulb hole, and hence is super easy to align.

Wow, Here comes the real retro fit. It looks so meaty and neat too.

Congrats man. Expecting some WIP shots and the beam spread snaps.

How did u sourced it, from retrofit? If then how much was the damage?

Thanks. Shots are coming by next week. Just no time from office during the week.

I sourced it from Puneet here.

@all - Can anyone help me with sourcing H1 HIDs with colour temperature between 3200k and 3600k?
