Yes, my bike is completely stock. Yes, without the battery or the RR unit it will start but shows struggle to gain power, lots of jerks etc. Even without the battery bike came to life, after starting through kick starter, but if you press horn or turn lights, engine feels week, lack of power. Without the battery & RR there is no way to start the bike.
It confirms that TCi ignition uses direct battery power, if battery is not present it take the DC power from RR but without the RR it is unable to start. It is sure that TCi requires a stable power to produce spark, so when you press the horn or any other items (Without battery) it produces low power. Now without battery if you switch on the H/L, it is the worst situation.
I have no idea why TVS use TCi over digital CDI?

Digital CDi also has that nature. Even that takes power from battery/RR and u can feel minor jerks while riding when u use horn or indicator without battery. Its as simple as you need sufficient juice in power and hence u need to boost charging to run on all DC. I had faced that jerks in my Unicorn (has digital CDI) when my APE RR went for toss and blew off my battery.Originally posted by kauria View PostYes, my bike is completely stock. You don't feel that in Pulsar's where they don't use Digital CDI. They have a separate coil for powering up the CDI.

4300k BI xenon HID on comet from Navnish
Thanks to navnish for the H4 4300k hid , i fixed it on the comet and here are the pics ,
I alredy have two 6000k bi xenon hid's on th R15 , and 3000k ones also .
For those who are looking for better lighting , You can get ur hid's from Navnish.
35 w HID.
I could have taken pics in pitch dark and say , look its bright and the spread is so much , Thats no use . Need pics in daily use conditions , where there is oncoming traffic , and the light gets absorbed , So i have taken pics under the yellow street light.
The Light performed well .

Hi beam

Low beam under yellow street light.

SANTOOSH ....just too good dude, too good.the cut off in low beam is super impressive.really.the warmth of the light and ACTUAL LIGHT ON THE ROAD IS ALSO VERY VERY CLOSE TO A HALOGEN SAY OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER.JUST LOVE IT........
u told that u changed the reflecter to fiero round shaped one, only the reflecterglass or the whole dome +reflecterglass? can u enlighten me how much it costs for the fiero reflecter glass unit and if possible the dome also?is these parts are still avl in the market?
do u have the part number?company make like minda/lumex etc.
now coming to the hid,as i told its too good, but some quaries there also.
is 4300 k on low beam attracts too much attention in city as navish told me it can be a prob sometimes.
also where you have put the slim ballat(if the product from navish then it should be like that i guess as he deals with very high quality goods, nice chap.)?
also can you put the picture of the comets front end with the fieros headlamp unit......
its too much ques i know but your pics are tooo much promising...............
i thank you in advance.sigpic
