  • @Abhijit

i tried to fit another hid to my bike today.must say its an overkill for sure.so decided to step back and retain one hid on crash guard and stock visor mounted phillips extream power for my bike.also two seal beams was looking a bit tooo weired in compared to a single sided one.
now i am telling this is because i mounted the extra hid on a autopal 178 mm sealbeam as you have in your bike.the idea is to fit this on the bull bar of my scorpio.man!!!!!!avhi, you should see it in action.DITCH THE 100/90 and GET A BI XENON NOW!!!!!its too good man.i will start the procedure tomorrow and soon post pics.

and when i switch to high beam only right side is lit and left points almost upwards.
Can anyone tell me how to adjust it?
i have heard that p 135 is having very nice light spread.its also true that according to regulation the light is left sided or right sided spread is more on low beam.i recommend to test another bike of same make.if you see any prob its may be due to misallignment of the halogen bulb, then get it fixed.

only hid-dcm toyota sealbeam on rx housing
Hey bro, need information on this.
        1. I would like to know the diameter of RX housing. Also which RX housing?
        2. Whether DCM Toyota Sealbeam has a H4 setup or any mods were required ?
        3. Whether DCM Toyota sealbeam is a straight fit into RX housing or any mods done?
        4. Finally cost of RX housing? Cost of DCM Toyota sealbeam?

        Thanks in advance

        • thanks abhijeet , have understood how relays work .

the 2 extra wires are going to relay and if they get + power the circuit completes and bulb lights up . it works on both wires that are present and i did not have to connect the other one to - power .
is this how it works ?

relays on other hid kits i saw had a 3 pin connector that connects to stock wiring . mine has only 2 .
example of 3 pin type relay [leftmost connector]

          • There should be 3. If yours has only 2, maybe GND is missing. (The center one is GND) Is another GND wire dangling? Else maybe it takes GND directly from the battery GND wire. In that case, it will work.

@Sreeni - Get it done man! Looks good!

                  1. i would like to know the diameter of rx housing. Also which rx housing?

well its a rx 100 housing, diameter i dont know exactly as i didnt mesured it but it houses seal beams of 5-3/4 inch,146 mm.here is the info...Autolite (INDIA) Ltd.
                  1. whether dcm toyota sealbeam has a h4 setup or any mods were required ?

well its h4 but there are two types of h4,one is h2 p43 type which we have normally in our bikes and cars and other is hr p 45.but in this dia sealbeam its pretty hard to arrange a h4 p 43 type,i got a p 45 and modded it to fit my hid desi juggads, its the key to get the focal point of hid to the proper area.its not that easy!!!!.lots of trial and error.
                  1. whether dcm toyota sealbeam is a straight fit into rx housing or any mods done?

                  its a straight fit.
                  1. finally cost of rx housing? Cost of dcm toyota sealbeam?

                  its dammn cheap.housing if delhimade then 120inr.sealbeam autopal h4 p 45 90 inr.
                  thanks in advance

modifying even a screw or nut bolt can voild up the warrenty if we follow the book properly, but in india, its the only fun we have.

                          • H4 55-60w

                            Hi everybody,

Pardon me if this query has already been addressed. Couldn't find the exact post on this thread, hence asking.

I want to switch to H4 55-60W from the current 35-35W on my ZMR. Now would you recommend me to do so ? of course this would be without adding any relay.

                            1. Would you recommend me to do so ?
                            2. Will it affect my existing hardware due to over heating ?
                            3. Will it affect my battery too much ?

Probably ZMA or ZMA-R owners if not ZMR owners can also give me some guidance on this ..

                              Hello all,
Sorry if this topic has been discussed.

I'm getting my Cbr1000rr in a coming week. Any one who know about the lighting system of the bike, please brief me with the existing and if possible projection lamp installation.

which lights will be able to have the maximum visiblity. I dont prefer HID as yellow light kills the hid light.

                              Please update if possible.

It must be a full DC bike, so no need of any mods except the projectors. If u dont like the bluish tint of HID,go for 3-4.3K which is more yelloish and more close to day light CT. There r forums discussing fixing projectors in these bikes, google it, u'll get.
