Sorry if this topic has been discussed.

I'm getting my Cbr1000rr in a coming week. Any one who know about the lighting system of the bike, please brief me with the existing and if possible projection lamp installation.

which lights will be able to have the maximum visiblity. I dont prefer HID as yellow light kills the hid light.

Please update if possible.

for yellow light you can go 3000 k HID but it does not look very good . 4300k is oem white and offers max Lumens .

go for G3 bi-xenon projectors 35 w .they will fit and also have inbuilt angel eyes
.you will have lo beam and high on both .

they dont have any brand . made in china . yes bi-xenon . get the one that have slim ballast .

pardon me if this query has already been addressed. Couldn't find the exact post on this thread, hence asking.

I want to switch to h4 55-60w from the current 35-35w on my zmr. Now would you recommend me to do so ?
yes,possible as karizmas having a strong power gen unit,old karizmas even pull 90/100 bulbs without probs,so smile. of course this would be without adding any relay.
not at all recomended,the oem switches and wires are not designed to take such a load,it s a must to put a relay if you wanna save your bike and want the full intensity of the light.no slicing of wires required if tyou are worried abt that.

1. Would you recommend me to do so ?
yes ,go ahed and fit a oem 55/60 h4 p 43 base bulb,nice illumination and a minimum for highway night rides.
2. Will it affect my existing hardware due to over heating ?oem 55/60 h4 bulb will not do any overheating,i can grantee that.u will be amazed to know old zma s are even pulling 90/100 bulbs in there stock visors for past 3 yrs and still intact!zma visors are tooo good.
3. Will it affect my battery too much ?

Probably zma or zma-r owners if not zmr owners can also give me some guidance on this ..

well its h4 but there are two types of h4,one is h2 p43 type which we have normally in our bikes and cars and other is hr p 45.but in this dia sealbeam its pretty hard to arrange a h4 p 43 type,i got a p 45 and modded it to fit my hid desi juggads,its the key to get the focal point of hid to the proper area.its not that easy!!!!

In a P43 type what is difficult to arrange
P43 should hold the bulb without Juggad's right. Then ??

My friend have a Chinese HID on his bike and it take a good time to switch between the beams.
so will i also have the same issue?

Your friend has HID on both beams or is it Hi beam HID and Low beam Halogen?

If both are HID and still u ve that issue then ull need to put a capacitor between the legs of relay. Abhi can explain it well.

If its a low halogen then its the way it behaves. Can't help.

Ull have to avoid using flash with HID!!

So back to topic...

I am getting a HH Karizma && just want to talk XBHP forums for helping me make the decision. and i want to add HID lights but dont seem to understand where to start lol. I saw a HID kit for 4500 RS and it has both the white/bluish bulb and the yellow bulb.. Can anyone shed somelight on this?? I would like more of ablue color then white. Kind of like the R15 in the above post but a little LESS blue... Also, If anyone can help me understand all this.. thnx lol.

Well !! As I have a Bi-Xenon I have to think how can I fit HID bulb

Btw got hold of
RX100 housing - 60rs
Steel ring - 90rs
Canter P43 base - 85rs.

Yet to buy
Stays to hold the unit, springs to hold reflector in the ring, nuts and bolts, wires.

Rest...
Thinking how to fit twin headlight side by side and fix indicator too!!
