Hello bikerz,

Does someone have first hand experience of SMD LEDs for the pilot lamps and blinkers for Pulsar 220S (normal fairing). I have the urge to start some modifications on the bike and thought would start with the lighting.

Any suggestions, please advice.

Check out the pics that i hav posted on page 361 (oh its this same page) of my new p180. These are pilot lamps that contain SMD LEDs (9 or 12 per lamp) and are very bright!

Is this compatible with my bike? as this is an car kit i guess, should i go for it? and what is the bcu and does it cause any problems on installing the hid? is there a bcu in my bike?

Headlights for Apache rtr 180

Hello Guys, im new here. i own an apache rtr 180. it has been with me from 1.5 yrs. still now i have not changed anything. as all u know the tyres are of worst grip and the lights are really dull for Road (bangalore) conditions. so please suggest me what type of lights can i mod in my bike. Like HIDs Xenon Bi xenon projectors. also which is the best tyre mfg's product can i change in my bike.

The current bulb that i am using on my bike is of 8000K. so wanted to know if this will attract the cops? If yes then is it possible to change the bulb to a normal 35W or 50W Halogen like osram or philips without removing the ballast and other components which were installed for the HID.

Honda Activa Head Light Swap

Hello Honda Activa owners,

Did someone tried a HL swap with the new one to the old model?

I have one 2002 model and being a light maniac, stock light spread is not sufficient for me. But I don't want to convert it to full DC and use an HID on a scooter which has got a very powerful reflector than bikes. So my plan is to swap the HL assy with the new model HL assy. Have seen one guy with the new HL assy but the fairing was different than the new one must be a custom made one, couldn't clarify with that fellow that time as he was going opposite. I guess if I go for the front fairing its feasible. Any leads about the price of HL assy + front fairing?

If not, what would be the best practical remedy? My mech told that 2007 model has got a better HL assy than the older model and its snap fit with the 2002 model, is it right? Some how I wont fully rely on grease monks in electrical suggestions and you all know why Any idea?

buddy i don't have much experience either with osram nightbreaker or philips diamond vision.

why don't you go for HID.

@sajjt: bro, you can try LED Headlamps for your Activa/Dio, now-a-days LED headlamps are also available for headlights and are available in plenty on internet, try searching, specially sites like ebay and alibaba. they also consume very less current, so you can also put additional light if you want. no need to convert to DC by doing all wiring change. just add one more RR to the headlight ckt. and plonk LED headlamps.

i am not aware about there performance. but it is definitely better than halogens.
