thanks.... by the way any nice headlight as a direct fit in a 35 watt or can i go for a 55/60 as i would save some watt by changing the pilot lamp just asking as many have got 55 in RTR but due to ac it brightens up at 3k + Rpm .... i have that wont be a big problem .... but are their chances to burn up the reflectors ??/

Thanks for the help, Abhi. I have quite a few doubts, but will post them one by one, when the time is to upgrade to HID, which is not real far either.

i know its of 60/55w Halogen, but which type-H4 or H3 or H7

Hello guys,
This is Balaji.I am new to this place, so please help me friends. I own a R15v2 in which i have installed HID lights which are normal yellow halogen in low beam and HID white in High beam. I want to know that will i be able to install only the projector and angel eyes over these bulbs or should i change the whole setup....????

Will my stock p220 (2010) run HID projector without the need to rewind or convert to DC cuz as far as i know stock lamp is 55w and its full DC as stated by the website.
Also can i install two HID projectors, high and low respectively? (2 angel eyes look pimp)

Secondly i have some noob questions : When you switch on the lights, when does the bulb light up and when the halo (angel eye) ? or both light up simultaneously? Is the halo light connected to the pilot lights so when i switch on the pilot lights the halo also lights up...will both the halo light up simultaneously if i install two projectors?
Is it posssible to have different colors for the bulb and halo?
excuse my lack of technical knowledge

Guys, i own a FZ-S. I am not happy with the stock lamp illumination and throw. Since, the monsoons are approaching, any recommendations for the same? Hope to run the lamps on stock battery (if possible).

Projector is a lens which helps the bulb / HID to have a proper illumination in place of making the oncoming traffic as blind.

So you can use your current HID's with new projector.

And you can put angel eyes also.
But what I'll suggest is.
Now in market, demon lights are available.
You must have seen in real or some pics.
Projector with a angel eye type of colorful outline.

Yes
Pulsar is Full DC.
Yes, uses a H7 55W bulb.

You can just put in a HID in low beam (in projector) with a connection to the Ballast (that helps the battery to save life and give your HID more glow).

But for putting in high-beam.
Think twice.
The heat generated would probably melt the Glass of Fairing.
And no projector in High-beam will affect the traffic also and even the cops might catch you.

I have a friend in Mumbai, he paid for a HID + ballast set for some 1.2k near from a local shop.
As the Fz's lighting house is big. There is no risk of melting down.
But the problem is cops. They might catch you seeing white light.
And yea if you want HID + something for rain.
Get the 4300k or max 5000k.
Anything above that will be trouble in rain untill its Philips HID which is near 4-5k for just a bulb.

Or you can go for Osram Nighbreaker.

Search on xBhp and google around a bit and you might find some blog, post, video of fz with Osram !

I was about to type this last night by then I saved it for later
"Don't Get Fooled By The Shopkeeper".

Search on eBay or some local market.
Tell them you have the HID's already installed and need the projector only.

Where are you from by the way?
If some Second Hand market or Chor Market is there. You can get it easily

Go some pages back and you will see a Guy posted pics and info about the demon setup in his Impulse.
Yes you can get the Demon projector only also from eBay.Com also (not ebay.in).
But 1 single demon projector going to cost near 1500-2200 nearly.
Its just a lens that works as a lens and no other physics.
So don't pay much for it & don't get fooled.

Yes.
Try the Philips or Osram NightBreaker type of Bulb.
They run on Stock battery and claims to throw more illumination and good range also.

Check it on the website and then google, youtube for some Original References.
