you can put as many chargers as you want, provided you can give different sources, its like you can put as many as showers in yor bathroom, but can you provide the Water required.

Overcharging will harm your battery, you can charge faster but should not overcharge it.

Provided your bike is DC and the mech knows basic of bike electricals

I would say, if the mech knows what's a HID, then he can install it, heck you can do it on your own.

I had initially thought of putting aftermarket projectors. You cannot put a lens in your existing dome, and if you somehow manage to do it it won't be effective.
But projector lens don't as such boost light intensity, just a shatp cut off. I have seen few peolle doing the mod, but its not that impressive, compared to Pw.220. Ths reflectors make a bigger difference.

Yes, prashant, any bike electricals can be changed to DC, you need to built a "Custom Rectifier" to increase the battery charging rate, and the cut wire going from coil to electricals. Search for the thread "converted my pulsar 150 to dc" you will get all the details there. Cost will not be more than 100 bucks, but the sucess of the this setup will depend, and your circuit may or may not work for long first attempt. I will be back in Bangalore by 26th then if you wish to go ahead you can call me up.

Even if you 65W, best possible Halogen, switching to HID will give 4 fold increase in your light intensity, so much that it will be difficult for you put on High beam in city, unless you want be a cop magnet and don't mind abuse from oncoming people.

hw does actually an hid work
it needs the same wiring and reflectors or something else ?
and then what are xenon bulbs
are they part of hid or just a kind of bulb anyone can replace normal bulb with
seems they give much better illumination
There are three basic types of modern form of Automative lighting used today, Halogens,HID or Xenon and LEDs. HID and Xenon are the same, for full working of an HID look up on net, but basic difference lies in the fact where, a Halogen uses a filament an HID bulb uses an arc. HIDs last long as there's no filament to be burn. Most HIDs come with their own wiring and on DC bikes its just "plug and play". You can use the same reflector as well.
