But check the output just to confirm they are in spot configuration, because if you get flood beam your light be pretty much useless for on road performance.

All shopkeepers will quote exhorbant wattage values for their lights, so dont be scared.
18w led light comes in 2 row configuration with 3 leds each.
Might charge a high price at start so feel free to bargain.

    Thanx gunner143
i will be going tomorrow so will keep that in mind

Best bet install a projector or LED bulb.
I fully agree with your contention that a projector setup would be ideal. I do not buy however that the increase in illumination is marginal. It's massive to say the least coupled with the yellow white color temperature. The cost for a good quality projector setup goes well above the 5K mark and requires too much fiddling around with the dome, coil winding and stuff. I can't afford that, period. I'll definitely keep an eye out though on how things go with LED bulbs/spot lights. Might go that way in the future.

Hello team. I recently fitted an osram 130/90 watt bulb on my pulsar 150 ug 4.5. Working awesome.

Won't a 130/90 drain the battery and melt the reflector

Yes it will certainly drain the battery in cas3 the engine is off. When the engine is running there is no such issue. The reflector also works fine as I have completed 3rd month after this mod and have also done a night trip of continous 450 kms approximately and there are no signs of melting. The stock fitted reflector is of brilliant quality and the beam is far brighter than trucks.

Ha its the same as mine ... a few things to make note.

On the rubber cap make a cross incision for the fan to fit prior or it is going to be difficult after installation.

In its natural state the throw is a little high. Adjust it for a lower setting.

Need help fitting the APE RR on my FZ-S (non-fi model). The RR is with 4 wires:
                  1 black
                  1 yellow
                  2 grey
A picture of the set up will be of much help.

Will install them tomorrow and post night shots of both the led h4 headlamp and these 30w led aux lamps.

Finally im inching towards my desired lighting setup for my bike.

Put up some pictures once you install them. I'm waiting for my brackets to arrive so that I can put up mine.

                          Sure thing.

I had drilled holes in my leg guard to install my 18w led aux lamps(ya i know that wasnt a wise choice) ,will install my 30w leds on the holes i had drilled for the 18w led aux lamps.

Anyways here are the shots for the 40/20 - hi/low led h4 headlamp i installed on my 200ns.

Imo it has nicely focused wide beam and in low beam it doesn't create much glare for the oncoming traffic.

It should get even better when i have lowered the beam, cuz it is slightly higher for my taste, plus quite a bit of is getting wasted in high beam because of the current setting. I will be able to get more light on the road instead of wasting it in the sky lol.

Installed the 30w osram led aux lamps on my bike.

My initial impression that it is not pure white light, its got a very slight tinge of yellow and i m loving it !!!

It has nice spotty beam and with the right placement, i should be able to get great illumination on road minus the glare for oncoming traffic.

Imo they are pretty bright and i feel i wont even need the main headlight when they are properly placed

I had the same impression when I installed them on my car. However, they are just too narrow and we absolutely need headlight for wide coverage, at least the low beam. Headlight low beam and osram led's as high beam would be killer combination and that's what I'm planning to do. Can you please upload some photos?
