if yes then what will happen to the existing ac system
In electronic (rather physics terms), the AC is a sine wave type of current, DC on the other is single pole current.
A rectifier basically converts the sine wave into single pole current. However, the best rectifiers also have some lag so you will almost never have a true single pole but something very close to it. The lag has to be reduced to the extent that it is almost negligible (wavelength of lag should be less than 3% of the wavelength of original sine wave)....
Actually this is all confusing...I know coz i wrote it...

Simply put, the AC is always there, you are just converting it to DC. Almost all electronic equipment works on the DC principle, but the mains current is AC so we rectify it thats all.

Looks good, if u do the AE's with an Acrylic rod, it would've got killer looks with a diff colours like red, blue etc. Will stand out evenif the HL is on. Less power consumption with less expensive mod.

hi guys i was the one who made this mod by myself. its actually a easy concept but tedious procedure...

wat you see is a .5 Watt LED each operates in 3Volts. i have just made 3 pairs of 4 LED's in series & then connect these 3 pairs in Parallel.

the hard part is fixing it inside the doom. remove the doom then demantle the whole doom then do the glueing thing then connecting it after that mantling it together once again...

                  hope you guys understand ..

ask me if u have any queries..

                  comments are welcomed..!

                  • Good mod buddy! I saw simiar light strips in some cars here in Pune. Good to know you did it yourself, and not just bought n fixed it readymade.

its not any LED strips that u get in the shops, its more brighter than that.. you might see difference if u see it directly...

i wasnt able to get a good pic of that in my sony digi cam

                            • ok.. so i've got the nightbreaker from ebay and got it installed yesterday night in my avvy. When the mechanic removed the stock bulb, i noticed that it was a philips bulb (H4).

To be really frank, I don't feel there's much of a difference in the nightbreaker and the philips one, except that the light is a bit white, thats all.

it looks good, but as i have made in many of the cars the LED strip is not so bright.. that's why i went for Half WATT Lensed LED's which will be more powerful so that it will pull everybody's attention...
