A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

              Congrats on that sir,
I think 8gb would be less since the clicks would be in RAW format.
I advise you to carry additional 8GB memory card.
Would suggest you to buy from online websites as the cost would be half..
              To name a few -
Flipkart.com: Online Shopping India: Buy Books Online: Mobiles, Cameras, Laptops, Accessories
Online Shopping - Buy Mobile Phones, Cameras, Laptops @ Lowest Price - Letsbuy.com

              They have COD available too...

You can buy lenses too, but regarding lenses i would advise you direct pay through some dealer...Online might turn costly for lenses...Consider buying zoom ones!!!

              Tamron
              Canon
              Sigma

The above chronological order fits perfect regarding cost, clarity and sharpness in pics.

Also did you get the Canon bag with the camera or you need to register and then order it?? if that's in menu then consider another 45days in waiting for the camera bag....

                • Hello all,
I got this shoe recently for daily use.
My word - pretty good in terms of city riding.
Covers my ankle completely and ensures to stay warm coz of heavy padding...
The cost is quite reasonable also and is branded - Reebok

                  My 2 cents
If you are looking for a good city riding shoe which is budget stringent and should be bit light weighted then go for this.
I cannot completely say its an alternative to THE RIDING SHOES that we have or the Army Shoes from the canteen but then overall yes i would consider them good for city riding..

Got it at 50% discount rs 1650-250 ( new joinee on site) = rs1400...and COD ofcourse.

Modular helmets have less structural integrity than comparable full face helmets so should be avoided if possible.

BTW, do you intend to start safety gear rental services soon? I can suggest some good items that I would like to rent from time to time.

PS: Eshan, Canon over the Sigma? Are you sure?
I prefer it to be light weighted when touring. Also the size!!!
Sigma is anytime preferred but then i feel you need time and the patience to click from Sigma lenses...They are anytime good but then, at those altitudes and time constraint why not carry something light and quick....

@ Manish, if you all the time up there when touring then i would like you to consider Sigma as an option but then please think about the weight and sizes of Sigma's.

Also consider Tamron to be another option..Not as light as Canon though but sincerely in the budget and good quality (regarding colors and clarity).

EDIT - I have used on all three lenses mentioned above-

                              1) Tamron and Sigma takes hell lot of time for focussing.
                              2) canon is quick but lots of limitations when consider zoom lenses (IS, Cost and quick use) (would like to consider best in terms of focussing among three)
                              3) Tamron is ok for colors and structures (very bad for portraits, consider using a 50mm Prime, again Canon would be the one)
                              4) Sigma toooooo heavy man....

                              PS
This is personal opinion based on experience, please dont wish to debate on this topic.
