  • Just few places I know [Considering that there should not be problem to park and to keep gear]:

    1. Aashirwad Hotel (Beside SKN Hospital near Sinhagad Road)
    2. Oasis (NDA Road)
    3. Woods [Really good place]
    4. Kailas Dhaba (Shivapur)
    5. Joshi {I don't know full name} (Shivapur)
    6. Mahableshwar (Near Baner{I guess})

P.S. There will be rush no matter where we go as it is Saturday.

I think One of the many Hotels near Chandni Chowk will be perfect for this G2G.

Big Wheels sounds too far for a G2G if its happening in evening..Will have to ride in a group at late night while coming back!.. .. well 'm pretty much a biker and love to ride.. but it could get a bit fussy.... Rather we can ride to Lonavala in the morning and have a G2G, have technical discussions for extended hours and can still come back by noon... Just a thought

Else keep it around city for evening.

Big wheels would be slight costly! My current observation after being there for last meet with friends and the food is not that great for the price it is offered..

In that case woods would be perfect..

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

                1) Disadvantage: folding footrests (stock)
Whenever I lean and the footrest scrapes the tarmac, the folding movement of the footrest pushes the foot up, and at high speeds this is really bad. (my opinion)
Any solutions and expert opinion for this issue (other than replacing the footrests )??
                [/B]
If your footpegs didn't fold up like they do you would be crashing (pivoting) your bike every single time you drag a peg. So that really isn't a disadvantage.
If your footpeg is scraping the tarmac it usually means that you are riding on exaggerated lean angles which can be fixed through correct body positioning.

when i ride bullet before my bullet was solid condition but i once race with a Ceilo car and my engine size. mechancic say bullet is good bike but no racing. it is good for three people and very powerful.
one day when i become rich i but ducati and then I race with cars. not now.

But many a times I had no option than scraping the footrests. My pants got no knee sliders you see. :-P

Since I haven't been to WOODs, would like to be there.

So now I need a cover for the bike (which is a 220 for those of you who don't know) which has to be rain-proof of course.. btw - rain proof doesn't mean that the cover would immune to the eroding and dirtying properties of rain. It means that the cover will keep the bike dry...

actually, most people do not use the as they are very cumbersome and attract sarcastic coments :P so maybe thats why no one is respponding to this
I had purchased a nylon-resin cover -the shiny silver type with the bike 3 years ago but i used it only for a couple of days. i will see if i can find it (lots of shifting done so will have to search for it)
