Try these,,, Lg optimus1(p500), samsung galaxy 3 , galaxy 551 (querty slider) and there is upcoming samsung galaxy ace/cooper , (looks like a iphone 4 !) but its going to cost atleast 15k.

i have got htis iphone 3G which not detecting any sim card.even when i insert any sim i says searching
i went to a local shop and he said theres some problem with the network ic.he said theres a risk of 1 % for the phone to go dead if he changes the section.
no idea what to do.can any one throw some light as in what to do.
