.. and the first post which started bringing the people up here happened one day after I gave my bike for installation. Bad timing for me :/ will be extra careful with things now. And now I get it why I havent yet received an invoice

        Lol !!!
I hope everyone is familiar with the all PJ's (excuses)of the TOONER i. e
"Ya hello , plz give me 5 mins,I am busy. I will call you back."
Or this one is so common if you call him more than 10 times and he receives the 11th call
"Listen man !! I am on race track"
        I got the biggest one..
On the festival of EID , We muslims celebrate 3 days..
I called him 5th day after EID and asked about WHATS THE STATUS OF THE EXHAUST..
He replied "All my people are out because of EID . Will get to know tomorrow"

Thanks a ton TO @shv18 for writing what i was supposed to write , right when all this all happened..

........This was the PLUS POINT of MOTOZONE's HEAD PORTING , there was no fueling issues as such which was observed with HEAD PORTING done BY the TOONER..
The HEAD WORK by MOTOZONE gave PROPER POWER, SMOOTHNESS and EFFICIENCY without any ECU remaps..
Thank you @FZERIDER for finally coming forward and sharing your side of story. It would have been wrong on my part to blabber out the whole account of what you had to go through thanks to Tooner.

I hope when time permits, do share an extended log here on this thread so that Noob CBR owners and other readers get a better understanding of the true nature of the parts supplier in question.

The posts in this thread were made after I gave the bike for installation. Right now I have the bike with stage 1 kit which includes the BB kit, cam and exhaust. Lets see how good it goes. I am trying to contact Joel for fuelling issue question but he seems to be busy.

Why do I have a feeling that my year might start off bad.
A brand new OEM Block and piston set will cost you around 4 - 5k based on whichever vehicle you own. I hope you had retained the stock cam, stock block, piston and the stock exhaust with you. If you haven't then insist on getting it back from the Tooner. There is no point of messaging or calling as he has already made his money out of you and you are of no importance to him anymore. Don't get disheartened if he does pick up your call and say i am busy and after that you never get to hear from him...

We all have gone through it. Revert to stock as soon as possible less you want bigger expense sheet should things go really south and you end up with a bent crankshaft and damaged internal gears.. that will be more than 15 - 20k then.

          Cheers,

            Title : Death of love

No, Mr tooner's flaws didnt come up on this, Never got an opportunity to see them yet. This is what happened, Please keep in mind that this bike was only second to my brother and gf, and nothing else in terms of love. So you can think of how disheartened I am right now.

I started the bike in the morning, it choked, I felt the engine dying and took the thing to yamaha service asap. I already had an appointment with doc for a surgery I had in july, which I canceled due to this. Yamaha guys took the things apart, turned out that the piston was placed in opposite side horizontally, there were bent valves, huge carbon deposit on piston bad timing chain and tappet issues. It was a DISASTROUS job from dreamriders. I did gave Joel a call but he asked me to call after an hour, I wish he would have took it, would have helped gain a reputation for helping me out on this, I didnt call him afterwards as I lost my temper due to the bad mechanic job. Told the things to my parents, they suggested to revert back to stock and sell it and get a KTM 390. And yep, my parents said this, who are from a village, they know my love for biking.

But you see, this bike was too close to me, Have had a lot of experiences together, Rains to spine chilling winter to scorching heat, it was there with me.

The guys at Service station told as well that AFR is just not right and will make things go kaput. So, on this, Mr. Joel, when you say I am giving you stage one, do not put on a crippled list on this, Even you know it very well that without AFR being right you just cant get the setup give much of output. After getting this, a person will HAVE to get an ECU afterwards. So please dont get hopes high for people tight on budget. And apart from this, I was told that my parts were shipped 2 weeks earlier, right? the day you made the courier, I followed the chain of overnite express and talked to the guy who collected package from you. Giving a false illusion that my parts has been shipped is just wrong. I understand that you're busy and yes I wouldnt have mind when you said you will ship things when you have time, even if it takes a month. But I didnt get mad on you on this.. right? after first setup I thanked you on messages for this. But anyways this disaster wasnt your fault, but just want to point out the AFR thing. Please have a disclaimer on this when you send in the parts list to us.

Well, I am getting the bike tomorrow with stock parts in place, but since it will be taken away for sale afterwards, I announce it as "Death of Love". Thanks a lot to the mechanics who claim to be experts.

avin45...Very sad to see what had happened to your Love...Most of Tooner's Pistons are lopsided ie., In and Ex marks will be other way about, since it is meant for an engine with that configuration...so it is not the mechs error....I guess you had the High Lift Cam from the Tooner...if you had, then God Help you, because neither his supplier nor himself know the Lift Value and the Valve Overlap degrees , and also if it is within the design parameters of the engine....this wild cam put tremendous strain on the drive system.....the timing chain, cam,Rockers, and the Sprockets all pay a heavy price...ultimately one of them will give way....
If you go for Bigger Bore , you need to correct the AFR throughout RPM range
If you have FFE again you have to correct the AFR throughout the RPM range to take care of improved scavenging.
If you have a Performance CAM...you need to know the characteristics, and overlap time in degrees and accordingly adjust the AFR ..
To do all this you need expensive measurement, calibration equipment, which our Tooner does not have.
He may not even have a Torque Wrench..

Happy that you made the right decision, Wish you Good Luck and Happy Riding.

Damn. If so many people shared all this earlier, i would never have gone for RC. So far I've only exchanged carb issues for issues with everything else thats all

It's funny how 2-3 people's posts provoke the rest. It would have been much better with people posting their experiences as and when they happened. To the silent members, nobody's gonna laugh at your losses or disbelieve your gains guys! Share more!

@ Aditya......I had on numerous occasions had tried encouraging people who faced issues with Parts supplier's kit to come forward and share the experience..many declined saying that he and his minions will brow beat the views by saying it only shows Lack of technical knowledge, "Tuning and all about setup Man".....for this the minions got reduced rates or a promise of future upgrades at a lower price or, if their kit had Failed a New Kit will be given Free of charge....People actually Sold their Values ....

None of these people understood that they were actually becoming a part of a calculated cheating practice.....It was so horrific, and so oppressive, such people cannot be accepted as well meaning humans...If someone had a good experience with the kit it is ok, but you cannot say that people with failed kits do not know how to install, or worse still do not know anything at all ...I had sent him PMs requesting him to give a Instruction/installation manual with each kit to avoid wrong installation(if it is so)...It is blaming the Customer For the Manufacturer's Fault...the R15 mod thread is full of them. When I questioned how in @ Abhijeet 08080 picture of his damaged 165cc bore there is a stamping 135cc, obviously a re-sleeving and overboring is done, The Parts Supplier had the b***s to say it is cast to his spec ....It was the beginning to an end .....an end to all his fictitious claims, since the picture showed the truth for everyone to see...

So a special Thanks is due to @ Abhijeet 08080...for the expose ..

I do recall when i mentioned tappet noises (due to very loose valves as set by the RC mechanics) and coolant leakage from the coolant jacket around the bore, i got "it's crap bajaj quality man, nevertheless come to RC and get it fixed for free". Now getting it fixed for free is one thing. Blaming the manufacturer for carelessness while putting things back is what appealed in a bad way. The method they used to repack my bore and head was one which they do on their track mules, the ones which are stripped down and rebuilt after a few races, unlike street bikes which are expected to run tens of thousands of kms with nothing more than mere oil changes and periodic valve clearance adjustment. If i was some ignorant noob, who knows one day my case might have been aggravated to the coolant eating up all the packing and finally engine failure. Again, i refrained from arguing as i had to get my job done. In fact, 200NS has one of best quality robust engines albeit flimsy plastics.

I also recall me talking to him about the few stories of failure of these big bores on xbhp and he said "i give them strict instructions about running in after setting up and as soon as they leave the garage, they rip hard. Im helpless" like everyone is a noob. Another time i was discussing about high lift cams and their effect of concentrating the power high up in the rev range/compromising power in the low range. His answer to that was "obviously you've read from all the wrong sources on the internet". I didnt say anything but truth was, i got that bit of info from xbhp again, from a post by one of the popular senior members themselves

My investment could have been spent on an equivalent of 5k kms of one day rides, which i keep doing often.

                        • Hilarious Posts

                          Hi All,

Just to keep the momentum going i am posting some of the excerpts from discussions that took place some months ago in a group in social media about Tooner and people who have been associated with his Tooned kits. For the sake of discretion, i have blurred out the names of the members of the group. I would request everyone not to judge the people participating in the discussion or their respective comments in the screen grabs below. They are just passionate riders voicing out their opinion.

Note: The excerpts here are not exactly in order as i lost track of which goes first and last.. human error..

Try and understand the nature of this parts supplier and how he cheats people:

Case 1: A disgruntled CBR 250R Rider waiting for his "Tooned exhaust"..

Even after a week, here is the scenario

Case 2: Another disgruntled CBR 250R owner...

The Usual excuses from his famous excuse list....

AND HERE COMES " Tall Claims All Over!!

So after all the promises were made, here is the result..

I hope readers and my fellow members will understand now what is going on here... . The reason the exhausts were not getting delivered was because the Tooner was not able to amass enough CBR 250R orders in order to get the production started. As a result the poor owners had paid the amount demanded by him in full and way in advance.. Everytime they were given false promises and hopes that the exhaust is just leaving the workshop the very next day.. the moment these owners managed to get hold of him on phone, he would cut off the conversation on pretext of being busy..

No matter how many times one asks for the courier AWB no. which allows any person with access to internet to track the shipment, the Tooner will never provide you that. Reason?? plain and simple he has still not shipped the parts yet.. Same thing went with my kits as well. I was made to wait for almost 2 years, solely because the Tooner wanted the money way in advance and i refused to pay him full amount. Half the amount on the delivery of first lot of shipments and the rest on the delivery of all the parts.. Besides he also needs to amass a lot of order from unsuspecting riders so that he can call his supplier to pick up these kits from.. So unless he has managed to secure atleast 10 orders, the wait for the customer who has paid him will be limitless and may stretch to over a year (or to infinity and beyond!!) ...

Any businessman or a management student here will agree with the concept of how one secures parts from a distributor/ a manufacturer.. Everything has to do with volumes!! unless you as a customer can provide large volumes in order, the distributor is not interested in selling anything to you..
There are many such cases as above where the people are still waiting for their parts to be delivered to them and yet the phone is either switched off or the emails and smses go unanswered.

How about a Refund?? are you joking.. seriously??

In today's modern age and era, transferring money via NEFT/RTGS applicable to almost all the banks is really very easy and can be done in one day flat. However, that thing will never happen. He will always try and delay everything on the pretext of racing, eid etc etc. When he was publicly ridiculed, he came forward and gave a long explanation without bothering to let the two disgruntled riders know about the actual reason behind the delay. A lot of riders have waited over 3 years and still haven't received their promised kits, some have actually given up hope and wrote off the whole ordeal as a bad experience.

This guy is just marketing and pawning kits from another distributor and making a killing in the process by duping unsuspecting riders. So i hope i have laid out enough proof on this thread for Noobs and readers to understand how this Tooning business functions and why should you stay away from the snakeoil salesman.

There is absolutely no reason for the so called kits to fail if the claims are bullet proof and more reliable than stock!!

The way things are going on, i won't be surprised if one fine day this Tooner finds himself cornered by a disgruntled owner along with a few muscleman to tune him, bend and mould his chassis for good. Though i would never advocate such means or would encourage anyone from taking such a drastic step!! I feel educating riders is a much better approach to this problem..

Dear readers. do take a call if we can post these excerpts in the hilarious thread..

                          ...and don't forget Tooner's Moto:

                          Cheers,
