    Yes, Fine for over-speeding is 300. and the limit on the ORR strech for bikes is 50 and not 60. 60 is only in the BIAL road.

    They are usually stationed at EMC2 office in the mornings. this is the new location that i found today,after paying the fine for it.

      If you go to airport thus go through the other route, not only it is shorter it is also a beautiful clean well made road other than a stretch of few kms with some good turns.

      From Hopefirm circle > Kadugodi > Hosur Road > Budigere Cross > Devanahalli > Airport.

      If you are caught with a speeding ticket, it is useless to argue better pull off 100 bucks and pay it, if you argue sometimes they will print the slip and you have to pay more.

      I was fined one day for a signal jump, was in parallel with a BMTC and thus could'nt see the signal the BMTC was crossing the road while the signal changed, soon after a cop across the street noted the number and said "confirmed signal jump" I was like WTH!, Quickly paid 50 bucks and zoomed off.

        Be aware bangalore

        Folks returning from whitefield towards sarjapur on outer ring road be careful. There is tha van checking for overspeeding. Just paid 300 for speeding in outer ring road and my speed was 63kmph. They say the limit is 50kmph and within city its 40kmph. People gave 100 bribe and left but i argued so had to give 300.

              Was returning from BIAL yesterday evening, at speeds of 50-55. Was stopped by a cop at an interceptor just after the first bridge.
              Bugger checked docs & let go! I know this document checking business isn't allowed now, but I didn't argue.
              They stopped another couple of bikes for no reason!!
              Strangely, they were only pulling up cars for over-speeding.

                hi guys ! any idea how much is the fine for not paying the road tax for driving a delhi registered bike in karnataka... beacause the tax is huge now...around rs.7000... so if anyone knows the fine amount..please tell...

                  As far as I know, the road tax that is paid on a private vehicle is valid pan India. ( if it is a one time tax)

                  so, rest be assured, as long as you are in the city for less then 6 months, you can ride the bike. The tax was one time paid in full at the time of registration.

                        I was once caught for over speeding in Koramangala inner ring road(towars Indira Nagar) on my bullet 500.

                        The Cop pulled me aside and said that I was overspeeding. I asked how much was i doing, they showed me the pic taken of my bike with 80 written on it. I was like, "no way, I was doing 120". He said "no saar, you were doing 80"

                        I told him, there is something wrong with their interceptor and get it fixed, paid him 100 bucks and moved on.

                              cars, bikes they're at it all

                              I was doing 170kph in my dads car and didn't bother to stop when the cops waved me down. Bill came home a week later I don't cross 70 now even if provoked by smaller cars.
