  • In this thread no one as of now hasnt written a complete report on before and after, i am actually preparing my bike for the same, finding roads, finding equipment, i had thought that i would take to the bajaj probiking for dyno but came to know that i can only test one of their bikes, so thats out of the question, but i will try to minimize difference of outside parameters and provide everyone here a complete demonstration of Joel's Jewel.

Nice, but this mutant is not from Bangalore, he is from Gujarat.

Any comparison from you or the existing customer can also do good to me.

Q2: akrapovic slip-on my apache rtr 160 [2010 model]?! is it possible? Q3: NGK Iridium Spark Plug for my apche? is this increase the performance? pls guide me so Q4: what will happened if i change my rear tyre from my stock 100/80 -18 TO 110/80 -18 or 120/80 -18?!

                  • I got my bike worked on by Joel last weekend, but I've been quite busy since then to take her on the highway & enjoy. The review will come only after that. No FFE as of now. His work is as fast as his bikes are, he finished the job in one day. Rest later, by the way I have a P 220 F & he worked only on the head.

                            • I own a pulsar 220 dtsi ( finished just over a year , 9k kms ) and so far the only "mod" i have done is switching over to ngk iridiums ... And i currently run on motul 5100 (15w50) ss oil.
I have a question and after going through this particular thread , I am sure our man Joel has the answer ...
my p220 feels great and is indeed very fast ... i weigh 75kgs, 5'10" and i recently got 148 on the speedo without redlining in 3rd ... redlined only on 4th and she touched 148 on 5th ... I simply adore my ride
But i must admit that the feel of the bike is not great once the engine crosses 8.5k rpm ... there is this added scream and a distinctly uncomfortable extra vibration. In other words , i feel as if she is struggling to rev high .. So my questions for Joel and everyone else here is :
                              1) Is this extra scream and vibration normal ?
                              2) If so , then how do i make my p220 rev more easily ? Because i really dont like the extra screaming and the struggle.
WARNING : This bike has been Joel-ed
