Will they be a direct fit or require some mods to be done? Can they handle the weight of the bike and load of pillion at the rear?
I'll let you know by Sunday as i am gonna see my mechanic then and he's the main mechanic in a bajaj service center, so he'll know

I have been using this oil for the last 5-6 years and my bike runs so smooth and the performance is excellent, very less vibrations as well. My bike is December 2010 model, completed 45000 kms and no issues, fuel economy is 45 kmpl. Service your chain regularly at home, put it on main stand, use an old toothbrush and clean the chain with diesel. DO NOT START THE ENGINE IN THIS PROCESS. after cleaning the chain, start the engine put it in gear and rev it so that all the grime gets removed from the chain. For lubrication use motul chain lube, its excellent. Motul products are available on Amazon. If any doubt WhatsApp me: 7737451801

Change to motul 3000 mineral oil, use the same oil till your bike completes 5000 kms and then shift to motul 5100 semi synthetic oil. After your bike completes 10000 kms, shift to motul 7100 fully synthetic oil. I had followed the same method for my bike. My bike is December 2010 model, completed 45000 kms and the performance is phenomenal. Very less vibrations as well, giving me 45 kmpl.

My bike being older than 8 years starts in 2-3 attempts , so it is unusual for your bike to take 5-9 attempts. Get your spark plugs checked, if they look black get them cleaned. Maybe your bike is running on lean mixture of fuel, get it to little bit rich mixture. Check the air filter checked as well

Oh ok.. as i replaced engine oil only at 1200 km there is no need to change it now.. I will check spark plug, air filter , but i never touched mixture screw .. i may tell mechanic to check the same (or else untrained mechanic made such things worse..)

U can use saree guard at other side(exhaust). Simple mod. Just invert it and cut weld.
If u want good one, lluvia p220 saddle stay may direct fit.

I thought for the same thing, but saree gaurd may need some things so that it does not tends to bend inside from end (Number plate) when bike falls on either side.

Guys, a problem I am facing lately with the bike. It has been literally snorting engine oil way too much, it depletes just in 1500 kms of putting up. The piston and rings are fine, there is no power loss just the engine oil drinking problem is way too much. I can't afford to put 500/- every 1500 kms especially knowing this bike doesn't do that.

Somewhere i read it has to do with breather pipe carrying out the engine oil to the air filter or so on...can I start somewhere on this? My bike is 95000 Kms old, and has been engine overhauled at 67000 km once.
Na tha kuch to khuda tha, kuch na hota to khuda hota, duboya mujhko hone ne, na main hota to kya hota!

First find out where the oil is going to.

Under the motorcycle you'll find the breather drain hose, open it and release any oil that has collected.

Next take the Spark Plug out and then inspect the tip for wetness, if dry all is well, do the same with the exhaust tip, run a finger around the inside and see if there's wetness.

If there is wetness then you need to ensure oil is present to the top mark and then start the engine with the breather pipe disconnected making sure the ports are properly covered lest dirt enters the engine, once the engine is running rev it up a bit and observe the amount of blow-by, the motor is literally ejaculating oil then it is then rings, if there is no noticeable blow-by then the cause for oil burning could be your valve stem oil seals.

Now if you find that the SP and Exhaust tip are dry, then the only remaining cause for oil drop could be an external leak or normal oil drop.

Actually there is no wetness in spark plug but was very little amount on breather hose which I believe is normal. Will still perform a blow-by on the pipe but I don't think it is the ring either, since bike is not fuming at all, even at red lining! Oil seals are something I suspect too...will get them checked though.

Now only if I could make my mechanic understand this and convince...but will try still. Many thanks man!

Guys one query, I have a Pulsar 180 UG4 2010 as known in previous posts.

It is nearing 1L KM mark (2K kms short), and I just wanted to know if
                            * The meter reading will reset post 99999 to 0
                            * The meter will continue recording as it is right now
                            * The meter will stop completely at 99999

What out of above three can happen? Pulsar mechanics at service centers were clueless on this

From what I read about someone's P150 on this forum, the meter gets reset to 0 and then moves accordingly.

Man that's a bummer. Few P220 meters similar to P180 ones, I saw, kept on climbing even past 1L km mark. However unsure since different versions have different odos.
