    Btw, the 180 will now come with a rear disc instead of the drum brake, and the console is backlit in blue.
    You got me dear I meant front and rear disk is comming not the dual one if bal gets dual disk ever it will be a nail on the ice. Yeah I know what is bs4 for. Yeah waiting to see the bike in real. With the new lights on it. I am sure the bike will look really cool.

    Just saw it on youtube but of a 220 one. Here have a look.

    • Pulsar 180 ug3 noise from clucth side

      I have a problem in my bike as i go above 40-50 some clk clk sound comes from clutch side and disapear as i live the accelerator and press the clutch lever. Pls help me out to know whats the problem with my bike. Also the digital meter light is not working.

        I am planning to upgrade my TVS Apache 160 to either Apache 180(NON-ABS) or PULSAR 180 (because 2017 version has rear disk).
        Since i already own a Apache 160, there wont be much difference in handling, apart from the extra bhp and torque.
        The reason why i am considering Pulsar 180m is because it has a better Front forks, Fatter rear tyre, Split Seats and Now it has rear disc too.
        So need your inputs on what to pick, how well the pulsar 180 can flare against Apache 180.

            Check carefully to ensure that the sound is from inside clutch and not from chain. If you are sure its from clutch, take it to service centre ASAP. (because if there is some issue with clutch,then the more time you spend diagnosing the more chances of abnormal wear and tear inside...)

              I am 5ft 4in, and Apache 200 saddle height seems be taller for me a. Pulsar 180 Saddle height seems to be ok for me.

                Guys i need your valuable advise...
                I have pulsar 180cc ug4 2010 model. clocked at 44300km Odo reading. all stock company sealed engine i did a long drive Delhi to Agra 496km it was a round trip with proper care and maintenance healthy as new engine. i also gave rest to its engine at every 80km ride for 10 to 20minutes or a gap of 1hr of continus riding. drove at 100-110km/h speed at no more than 9000k rpm viz below red line rpm.
                Here's the problem i wanna discuss with you.
                after this long drive my bajaj pulsar 180cc engine starts making a Metal Rod Knocking sound, gives black smoke at higher rpms seems like un-burnt fuel. wornout cluth plates, reduced pickup and top speed, jammed rear wheel if i try to move vehicle in gear by pressing clutch but feels normal if i move on neutral gear.

                My mechanic said
                metal knocking sound is coming from crank complete engine overhaul will be require to repair that damaged crank.
                clutch need to be change with clutch cover.
                timing chain need replacement too as it also creating a tik tik sound.


                what do you guys says?
                what are the additional replacement i will be ready for i mean when my mechanic disassemble my pulsar engine?
                is it worth to fix? or to sell? why?

                      a must manual for pulsar owner.
                      It contains a hell lot of information about pulsar machine like how to tweak CO2 or how to fill nitrogen in shockabsorbes etc
                      It can save your a$$ as owners manual does not contains information like this...even if you instruments then you can do servicing of your bikes with the help of this manual

                            first model wass called ug1
                            after they made few changes to it and a next year launched model was called ug2 then next year with more cosmetic updates called ug3 and so on... ug 4 was 2010 model. and dual tone colored model was ug4.5



                            bro. if wanna use your bike for 4years only and only in city traffic with daily commute of 50km daily go for Pulsar. because it last only 30,000km if maintained well. and sane driving.
                            i just made 1 long drive and it fcuked...! read my post above your post.

                            if i was in your place and had 2 options to choose from then i will defiantly go for Hornet only negative part is it didn't have engine kill switch so every time on a traffic you have to turn its key off/on. Honda has almost same power compared to pulsar 180cc but better built quality and longer life.

                            why don't you go for TVS Apache any variant its good budget bike. but don't go for stupid yamaha

                              Well im using my p180 ug4 since june 09 and current odo is almost 85k kms and counting and I guess it'll last another 50k kms easily

                                thats strange maybe you didn't make any long drive yet ...? whats your daily commute? mine was gone at 44,000km after a single long drive with sane driving if i didn't make that long drive i pulsar would be alive as showroom condition.
