      7. wheel need rim Tape
      8. Helmet Cable lock (preferably with key)
      9. Bangee Cord At least two
      10. Hazard switch installed, which help your both indicator will blink simultaneously. (you may need with in heavy rain condition)

No idea on hazard lights. Mobile charger can be wired independently and hence no warranty issues. If needed for warranty purposes, it can be removed easily.

Pulsars have push type bulbs. For tail, 5smd(5 led points) bulbs are enough. It can be changed at home easily. The screws are behind the mud flap. If confused, take the bulb out in advance and show them to shopkeeper for replacement led bulbs.

The existing pilot lights can act as drls. Just switch on parking lights and it'll turn on.

            • Pulsar 180 UG4 Headlight Auto Off Problem

I have pulsar 180 ug4, 2011 model. For the last few days I am experiencing a strange problem with my bike.
After turning on headlight, it turns off after few seconds.
I went to mechanic, he told me that it is sensor problem, it has to be replaced. Price quoted for sensor was Rs 1050. Just wanted to know from the community what kind of sensor it is, what is it called and where is it fitted in bike?

I am clueless about the problem, I googled about it but didn't find any solution. One more guy seems to be having the same problem. He posted it here

Did anyone faced or know the same problem, if yes, how it was fixed?

                • Pulsar 180 Engine overhaul

                  Hi Guys,

This would be my first post in this forum. I bought a second hand pulsar at 24500 km now I have driven it 50500 in 2 years, which is fare enough I believe.

But last time i changed my oil it was lesser than expected, so they said its the bore problem. But I don't see any smoke coming out of my bike as somewhere I read it with the same problem, and my mileage isn't so bad either.

Two options are there if there is a bore problem :

                  1. Change the entire engine parts. ( Will be below 10k but again it wont give the requisite performance )

                  2. Replace the entire unit without opening anything. ( I have no idea how much its gonna cost > 30k )

Please let me know if someone has any views on the above.

                  Thanks,
                  Anjani

why not?? If done properly why should there be any issues?

                    Wow that escalated quickly.

Never faced this problem till now, get your clutch checked.

Yes I do get it sometimes. It's related to shifter springs or something afaik. Proper clutching, chain slack and good engine oil reduces the chances. But it's easy to identify- happens mostly when shift force is low and you can feel gear lever not shifting properly. Also, gear lever feels free to move when in 5th gear. Either reducing throttle and raising again or clutching eliminates the issue.

Does anyone have this issue where the bike, when parked in gear, is hard to move when engine is cold? The bike moves good in neutral without much friction and with little friction if engine is warm(after running). Clutch play doesn't seem to have much effect on this. Any ideas if it's not normal?

I felt it on my p220 also . Bajaj has this weird clutch dragging problem. Better to start the engine switch to neutral then move it .

So I'm not alone in this . This issue cropped up only after a mech damaged a tappet door. He removed the door but I guess scrapes of metal and plastic fell inside the head and circulated with the oil. But I couldn't connect both events since scrapes would be filtered by the mesh and centrifugal filter. Earlier, the bike was fine when in gear and in neutral.
