Price of the pair is 1600rs
The other method is to go to a local place where modifications are done and they can help you with anything
P.S. First compare the height of your shocks with the new ones, then decide
That's all I can help you with
P.S.S. Do one thing ask the same question in pulsar 220 section and pulsar 150 section, there are more members there and you will get multiple suggestions
thanks Rookie.but 1inch more is not enough for medoes increasing the suspension height increase the height of riders seat?how much maximum height i can increase with modifying suspension?thanks in advance

Is there a possibility that sprocket is misaligned and loose in front, thats why chain is jumping like this.

Any Visit to ASS they say same, need replacement on chain sproket, is 20k or so life of sprocket. I drive in city and highway intercity rides on weekend nothing beyong 70km in a day(which is less only)

Is chain slack good? Mine does the same at no load conditions from the beginning. But ride quality is good till date. Do you feel anything like this when riding the bike? If no, then it's not a concern. Chain noise is quite high in mine as well which is nearing 18k kms on odo. Do check the runner on the swing arm. If the rubber is worn, it will cause noise. Also, chain servicing can reduce the noise to some extent.

Its all about how you maintain the chain and the sprocket by lubing it and cleaning it when necessary. Must be lubed every 500kms min. Cleaning depends on how dirty it is. Just because you ride like what you said doesnt mean it will last longer. So there are greater chances of sprocket being worn out looking at your video. Please take a picture of the sprocket in day light and post it. Also the chain slack is loose i guess else it should jump this randomly.

Sorry I don't have any knowledge about that, and i don't want to misguide you. Ask this in p220 section and p150 section, as there are more active members

The shaft has to be altered to fit this in and it won't have any issues it seems. They confirmed that 95% of pulsar mechanics know how to do this and they can do it well. Hope you get that part there.

              All the best!
Damn sad to know they sold the last piece i would have paid 1200 bucks for it Im so desperate . I will try for another month and then i'll just buy a new bike thinking of the 200cc AS the 400CS is too much for me . these mechanics at sai service andheri are the Authorised service center and they cant fit it . i guess i would have to modify it myself .

Anyways thanks for the tips .

Hey bro, I inquired about this scissor gear to a mechanic and he said it's still available. Though I asked referring a p150 classic, he said the parts are available.

Set of 3? From what I know, it's a single piece with 3 gears connected with spring on a single shaft. Is that the one? I'll check with the mech and update. Dealer? I don't think they'll understand english well😀. I'll have to take the mechanic along with me for the part inquiry.

Hello everyone. It's my first post on the website so please direct me to the right link if i have asked this in the wrong place.
I have a 2012 pulsar 180 dtsi and my friend has a 2009 pulsar 180 dtsi. Despite being the same model, there is a significant difference in the wight of the two bikes. Even he feels the difference so it's not just my imagination. Due to this (i am speculating), my bike doesnt lean into corners as easily. In fact there is a huge difference. I rode his bike and it was just so easy to maneuver around turns. What could be the reason behind this weight difference? Is it because of the manufacturing year or could it be something else?
PS : We also have the exact same tires (not stock).

There might be weight difference due to manufactured years but not much. But the handling might be due to many other factors.

How much fuel you had in your respective fuel tanks?
Was his fork cone set fresher than yours?
                          What about the fork oil?
                          Rear shocks?
                          Tyre pressure?

I too felt the same thing when I rode my friend's 2015 Pulsar 180 after riding my 2013 Pulsar 180. His bike felt a lot lighter and (still) handles better than mine, but in my case I also noticed quite some other differences between our bikes, the most significant difference being the console and switch gears. But this thing didn't last for long, after 6 months and 5000KMS of usage both the bike feel more or less the same. Anyways still I somewhat feel that my bike is heavier though faster But in my opinion this difference is mostly apparent in newer bikes and as they clock a few thousand KMS, the difference vanishes

P.S.- I read somewhere that Bajaj had adjusted the rear suspension of 2012-2013 pulsars to increase the height , but I guess now they have reverted it back to normal, hence causing the difference.

                              WOW such a quick response.
                              1. The fuel was more or less the same. We were going to lavasa so filled 500 bucks worth of fuel in the morning at the same time.
                              2. As far as i know, his suspension has never been serviced or specially attended to in any manner. However, my shock absorbers were in a shambles so as to speak. They were almost non existent. WERE. I got them serviced a couple of days ago and now they are fine. Cornering is much better than before but still nowhere close to his bike and the heaviness persists.
                              3. Tyre pressure was also more or less the same as we filled air in the tyres together right before leaving for lavasa.

So i guess it is a model issue?
About the bike being faster, yeah i kind of agree with you although it's more due to my riding than the bike itself. I do ride faster than him. Another problem that i think is happening due to the weight is that the bike feels sluggish sometimes in the torque area (most noticeable while going uphill like a ghat) and also the bike starts to slow down by itself without applying brakes quite fast. There's not as much free flow of the bike in neutral as one would expect.
As far as the mileage is concerned, i have clocked about 46k on the bike whereas he's at 40k so it can't be due to lesser usage
Height does feel slightly higher, yes.

Bajaj replaced the swing arm of the latest models with a shorter one. But not sure from which year models. Thats one big difference if that's the case in yours.

Regarding the bike slowing down check the throttle cable and for over tightened chain.
