    i don't understand how these ppl work in authorized bajaj svc. the air/fuel ratio was 3.5 turns..!

    i never give a lott of rev to the engine so could not hear the knocking..i brought it down to 2.7, smoothness increased, knocking decreased....got it to 2.5, knocking came down a bit..!

    got an exam tomorrow so dint have time to reduce and go for ride again..tomorrow i'l get it down to 2.2 and see if it knocks..!

      From where did you buy it?
      Your bike is shiny.
      I do detailing myself. Gotta do my bike soon. I'll post another DIY for that.

        i bought it from SNK Bajaj formerly known as Planet bajaj. Its in wakdewadi. but i got the 2 free servicings done from Gems Bajaj Akurdi, because it is near to my place.

        We can catch up on tuesday if you are not busy. Im turning the afr to 2.25 tomorrow, so u can also see if its knocking even at that afr setting.

          Akurdi gems bajaj is very bad. I bought my bike from there. They don't have enough space, resources to handle boatload of bikes who come to service. I'm not here on tuesday and wednesday. I let you know when I'm free. When is your exam getting over?

            my exam is getting over on the 31st, bike has clocked 6400 kms now, have to put for 3rd free service at 6650 kms, where do u suggest me to take it...??

              I really can't say. They are all bad. Never seen a good service center. And it's not just bajaj. You won't find maruti like service center in two wheeler market.

                i wish i could service the bike myself at home...! Some times i even have a doubt whether they really service the vehicle or just wash and give it back to us..?!?!!

                      Yes....even p 200ns have got more pages than us and the bike just came last year.
