For cleaning you can use that chain cleaning brush (available from Autofy on Amazon), some cloth and Diesel.

Hello everyone! I had a query.
I searched a lot but could not find the page for Pulsar 150. However, this is related to Pulsar 180 as well. Today, I just saw the Pulsar 150 Ug5 2019 twin disc variant with engine cowl today. Was really impressed by it's looks, features and pricing.

My question: Does these new 2019 Pulsar 150s and 180s have false neutral problem like the earlier Pulsar 150s and 180s? (2010 to 2016 models)
I'm asking this because I and my friends faced the false neutral issue a lot of times with my 2010 model Pulsar 180 and 2008 model Pulsar 200 when we owned them.
I will be grateful to you if you respond. Please let me know if any of your friends own a 2019 Pulsar 150 twin disc and do they face any false neutral issues.
          Thanks in advance

Here is the link to the Pulsar 150 thread. Quite strange that the thread of such a common bike is so inactive.

You can try different bulbs for the headlight.

I faced similar issue with tank on my P220, got carbon fibre vinyl on the centre area. Try to find how the marks are caused and solve it.

I did a test ride of my friend's 150 Twin Disc. It practically uses most of the current P180 parts. And no, I didn't face any false neutral issues, even with the lightest shifts. I think it's because of the addition of the Toe Shifter and the gear pedal balancer. You should take a test ride and see for yourself.

Thanks Any idea about it's fuel efficiency in city traffic?

I think it's somewhere between 42-44kmpl in stop and go traffic.

                          Guys, a quick help pls.
Both of my Pulsar 180's rear shock absorbers have gone bad. I am not in mood for getting them refilled again for another 6000 kms before they go bad. Not too impressed with stock absorbers. Any idea about shock absorbers that can be fitted in 180UG4 and can provide a more plush ride than stock Pulsar ones?

                          Thanks!

bikes only completed 1350km. But gears from 1-N-2 or 2-N-1 are really hard and finding neutral is not easy.

how to deal with this pls advise.

Also i want to replace its engine oil. can any one tell me what is the best oil for this beast.

                              thanks
Start using motul 5100 semi synthetic oil, it's the best in the market and after your bike has run around 10000 kms shift to motul 7100 fully synthetic oil. I have been using this oil for the last 5-6 years and my bike runs so smooth and the performance is excellent, very less vibrations as well. My bike is December 2010 model, completed 45000 kms and no issues, fuel economy is 45 kmpl. Service your chain regularly at home, put it on main stand, use an old toothbrush and clean the chain with diesel. DO NOT START THE ENGINE IN THIS PROCESS. after cleaning the chain, start the engine put it in gear and rev it so that all the grime gets removed from the chain. For lubrication use motul chain lube, its excellent. Motul products are available on Amazon. If any doubt WhatsApp me: 7737451801

However, while handing over the bike the service advisor said that the bike may need a engine overhaul since it has run more than 60K Kms and it may cost 9K-10K.

Have a question to experts here, is it the right time to do the engine overhaul and also need to know the cost associated with it? The bike still runs like a dream (touchwood) and I don't have major complaints with it till now, so wondering whether can I postpone the job to a later time - say may be around 75K-80K Kms.
Start using fully synthetic oil for the best performance, I have been using motul 7100 for the last 6 years and the performance/smoothness has been excellent.

i hd just replaced engine oil.. bajaj dtsi oil

i will keep bike under 40rpm till breakin completes.

can i move around with pillion too before breakin complete
Change to motul 3000 mineral oil, use the same oil till your bike completes 5000 kms and then shift to motul 5100 semi synthetic oil. After your bike completes 10000 kms, shift to motul 7100 fully synthetic oil. I had followed the same method for my bike. My bike is December 2010 model, completed 45000 kms and the performance is phenomenal. Very less vibrations as well, giving me 45 kmpl.
