re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
I was in same state as you are now and yes people do mock me even today as they think signal drags and full fairing are most needed things, Cbz was and is known for its slick gearshifts ,smooth engine and Hero support. Also have you seen quality in new gen Honda ? Worst till now. A friend of mine owns a 2010 Unicorn but wanted a bore kit of Hero simply Honda bore kit smoked at 20-30k only. Vibes are known issue in cbz but believe during run in all have to tolerate it.After that just see the pull after 5K , beauty of carb engines is you can feel it breathing at powerband and in xtreme has that pull and punch its famous for. Bikes like FZ and Pulsar have both pros and cons , i decided to buy xtreme after lots of research and test drives. Clocking 15-16k after 1.5 yrs it stands like the day it came from showroom (yea heat shield is scratched) but no worries.Any one who drives my xtreme says 70-80 can be held all day . Hope you understand and love your ride as its a part of you now maybe. CheersOriginally posted by ShahriarXtreme View Postnope

Dear all
thanks a lot for all your replies.

Feeling like a adorable little brother of you guys.
well then teach me another thing i found in our sibun bro's carb tuning guide the below line
"Pull out the air pipe between the carb and the head. You will see that a rubber pipe is fitted to carb insulator. Pull it out. There will be a brass pipe. Close it with your finger. If you do not close it your bike will not idle"
can somebody please post a picture of this air pipe & the brass pipe please please please
in the picture as far as i know the red one is the air pipe. after pulling out do i have to close it with my finger? please let me know.
i want to do it by my own, i dont trust those SVC guys. they dont even have feeler gauge but i recently imported feeler gauge from USA so going to give it to them for tappet adjustment.Last edited by ShahriarXtreme; 06-26-2014, 01:16 AM.

I think these parts are already described before, but still , Blue one is choke wire, red one is air pipe it balances the vaccum in float chamber with atmospheric air, yellow one is an petrol feed pipe.

re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
None of them is the pipe that i have asked. Look beyond carburettor. Just have a look between carb and engine head. You will see the thick rubber pipe is going to engine for carb which takes the air fuel mixture. Now on that thick black pipe there is a brown pipe like petrol pipe is fitted. Pull out that pipe and you will see the brass pipe. It lies between the carb and engine head on the air fuel intake duct.Originally posted by ShahriarXtreme View PostDear allthanks a lot for all your replies.

That's the vacuum feedback pipe for PAIR system. If it's open then raw air will be sucked in to combustion chamber.Last edited by SparKot; 06-26-2014, 11:14 AM.There is no honest path to prosperity - KoKa

re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
exactly he has explained. i own hunk for 2.5 yrs, clocked 26000KM, and really the acceleration and the punch cannot be matched.Originally posted by RohIIT View PostI was in same state as you are now and yes people do mock me even today as they think signal drags and full fairing are most needed things, Cbz was and is known for its slick gearshifts ,smooth engine and Hero support. You should change both of the shock absorbers.

re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
Levers are direct fit , although their strength is unknown , OE takes up beating very well. The plug wire thing is new to me , i suggest dont try that as it will void warranty and modification to ignition wiring need to be done.Originally posted by ShahriarXtreme View PostCan i install these 2 things 1. adjustable lever & 2. NGK plug wire on my hunk
I know they dont provide any benefits but still........
