i traveled 600km 3 times its not an issue

ViaTerra Fly GT and Claw review. The bike was the biggest revelation, with me just regularly attending to the chain (clean+lube only) and touchwood, it did not cause a single problem. All I did was tank up and ride. Just like the old Hero slogan - fill it, shut it, forget it. Final 2 days, while on my return leg: I covered 840 kms in 13 hours. (I was riding at 90+ at most of the times with 100+ on the Yamuna Expressway). Penultimate day ride stats--Distance covered: 840 kmsTime taken: 13 hours (incl of breaks)Max Speed: 110 km/hrFE :40-42kmpl.FE between Delhi and Agra on the Yamuna Expressway: 33kmpl. Stay tuned in for the reviews!
Congratulations on the trip being completed successfully. Say like arnold in terminator- "I AM BACK".I never doubt Hero bikes, they are Hero in real life. They may not be stylish or sound like international brand, but they are silent heros. That slogan is not old, but still prevalent to all new age hero bikes. I had also got 33 kpl once when the needle was above 8k rpm the whole journey. I am eager to hear the performance of Dunlop geo cruiser as my bikes rear tyre is gone and is requiring replacement. So although i know geo cruiser is a very good tyre your review will be helpful. Presently there is shortage of tyres in bhubaneswar and has requested the dealer to get me one. Waiting to read your travelogue as planning to do the same and route will most probably be same. @all those who doubt the touring capability if bike will run for 200-300 km non stop then here is the testimony that @blogging wheels have given.

Why are you using 60/55 watt bulb as it will not glow into full intensity. Our bike is all DC except headlight which runs on AC. With stock bike and philips germany bulb the light is very bright and i have even posted beam photos some pages back. So change the bulb to Philips Germany bulb and add the LED light. 12 Watt is not a load on bike as it is just negligible. You can go ahead. But change the headlight bulb to 35/35 watt Philips Germany bulb and you will be surprised to see the intensity of light.

Is there any other name on the bulb like "Essential vision, Extreme" or is just Philips.

No need of changing the bulb. The bulb is glowing with sufficient intensity even with stock set-up, continue with same.

No there will be no excess load as bike will be at higher rpms and so will not be any problem.

ok thanks... i brought a Anti glare (yellow) glass for night driving (350rs ebay). it give a better view with out helmet visor. with helmet visor on its like normal. so not use full for car drive. 2 weeks ago cleaned head and valve and carb.... the mechanic told me that come after 500kms of drive to adjust the valve. is it necessary to readjust the valve ? I need everything to be perfect before long drive thats why i am asking. Till date didnt changed spar plug too. am i change now and keep the used spark as spare or dont need to change. odo clocked 27000kms

Yes, most people go by brand name and thus think honda oil is better than hero oil but the opposite is true as far as i have seen and also my retailer friend has even told me.

Thanks for believing in me. If you ever use veedol oils then mark my words and reply back with experience. Un-fortunately, veedol doesn't advertises its product.
Can you tell me you district and nearest big city, i will contact the regional manager here and will let you know the veedol distributor there.

                              Hi Sibun,

I am planning to switch to Veedol super swift 10W-40 for my Hunk its completed 27K, can you please ask regional manager Veedol distributor here in Delhi, I don't want to go to a local dealer for avoiding any fake product.

How does this oil perform in winters can we continue using it in winters also?

This is the oil right ? Two Wheeler Oils :: VEEDOL SUPER SWIFT

                              Thank in advance

                                Hi

plz dont use 10W40. i own HUNK and i change the grade to 10W40 shellAX7, but i had bad experience. my bike initial punch was lost and post 60kmph, the bike was trying hard to rev. but when i switched back to stock oil, 10W30 the bike became more rev friendly and post 60kmph, speed is superb. i would suggest to stick with 10W30. moreover, if you use 10W40, you need to change the cylinder head gasket, because the stock gasket is not suitable for semi-synthetic/fully synthetic oil.you will face often oil leakage.

                                Happy riding.
