Centrifugal filter is round in shape and is visible once you open the engine cover.
The mesh filter is placed horizontally and we need to pull it out to see it.
Thanks do they need to be replaced?

I was running my bike after but my confidence was down and the engine sound too was different and i never drove it for more than 6kms as i feared it will broke down anytime. In february 2017 i finally decided to give a last try at a authorised Hero service center at Uppal Motors Bhangel Noida. The service guy quoted me 11k for half engine and 14k for full engine repair.I got full engine done with a total hit of 14K approx(Bill attached). He asked me not to speed more than 50km/h for upto 500kMs when the next service shall be done.I am driving my bike but i still feel something amiss and not like my original engine sound.

Request the experienced bikers community please help me out by please checking the service bill provided as i do not want to sell my bike and have already invested around 25K for the repair work.
First thing either you should have gone to a trusted mechanic or to a good hero svc. Don't leave your bike at their mercy. I always over see the work done on my bike. The price of head work is quoted in the bill which could mean that they have not changed head, only did lathe work on engine head for replacing valve guides. Are you sure that they have used original guides? Many of the lathes are not having the tool for replacing original guides and grinding it. They simply replace with bigger duplicate ones. If duplicate ones are used you will never get the true feel of your much loved bike.

Centrifugal filter is to be opened and cleaned and the oil filter need to be replaced only if the mesh(around 50 Rs) is not in proper shape else you can clean and use it again.

Thanks, but you have to open the engine cover to access the filters right? Will there be any problem if the cover is opened and something happens? And what oil to use?

Make sure you refill 1200ml of oil and not 900ml as you open the engine cover.

I am experiencing a weird issue with the handlebar or should I say the front forks. Whenever I ride my bike I feel that handlebar height has reduced and I have to stretch my arms (more than it used to be earlier) to hold it.

Actually, I got front fork rods changed from an outside mechanic and since then I am experiencing this problem.

I feel that he did not use the front fork rods of the correct length, which is why I feel that handlebar height is lowered from the stock.

Can someone please let me know the length of fork rods? And can it be because of bad fork springs?

                        Hi there.

Did anybody got their carb's slide bruised yet or stuck? Or any slide needle breakage?

Can anyone share the contact details of a good paint shop in Mumbai? Need to get everything including the frame to be painted. How much does it cost nowadays?

                                Yes, it is 28 mm.
I think you can use slide of Unicorn if OE Hero ones are not available.
