) now the engine heats up even on short rides even with the 300v i can feel the heat i my legs when i park the bike
.Overheating means the mixture is set too lean right? i have no choice but to set this thing myself i found this article online please tell me if the procedure is correct... here you go:1)Ride the bike for 10-15 mins to get the engine hot.
2)Set the idle RPM to 3000 by turning the Idle screw.
3)Turn the fuel screw CLOCKWISE(RPM will decrease)...Keep on turning it but make sure the engine does not stall,
4)After setting the leanest possible setting start turning the fuel screw anticlockwise(do this very slowly) the RPM will increase(the article say's if keep on turning after this point the rpm will start to decrease ie i will set the mixture too rich and advices to stop turning once the RPM becomes constant) when the RPM becomes constant stop turning .
5)Set the Idle to 1000RPM and check the response .
Is it safe to try this procedure

?.Edit: Though the engine is overheating i find the pickup has increased for some reason... overtaking on the highway has never been this easier, could the lean mixture be the reason for this?

so tried it clockwise it came off easily.Inspected the plug it was not BLACK,NO oil deposit's,no white deposits it was kinda like the cigarette bud color is this the mixture right
