    Thankx a lot for ur comments,by d way it looks even better on Road.. everybody around keeps asking me , is it 180cc? its good to have a unique bikw like dis... Pulsar's are too common as on date...
    tell me one thing i fell like 1st 2nd gears are having tooo much torque instead of higher gears,could it effect my mileage..

        now u say under these city conditions is this mileage acceptable in run in period??

        or is the adjustment of idle screw the major culprit???

        dont worry....with my driving experience i have noticed that the engine will get smoother after you will complte around 500 kms...
        and pls make a noke...dont drive her beyond 60 kmph..atleast not before 500kms.
        make sure you change your engine oil at 150 kms...
        RPM is just fine at 1.4...warm ur engine for few seconds/minutes everyday in morning before riding her.
        and at last...ENJOY YOUR RIDE!

          Even i noticed the same...but you should always remember-dont cross 3.5-4.0k rpm limits in first 500 kms...and 4.5--5-5 in nxt 500 kms..!
          as per other experts on xbhp remainning in speed limits (aka rpm limits) till 2000kms will help in settle down of engine and will return good millage in future.

                No...self tuning of JUST rpm screw does'nt make any difference to performance nor the millage...condition apply is that it should be in Hero Honda recommended Range.
                as per my experience anything between 1k to 1.5k to pretty okay as per new bike.
                experts please shed some more info on this!

                  Idle rpm above 2000rpm will reduce your mileage.Set it to 1.4 or 1.5k when your bike is hot.So it will be 1.2 or 1.3 at cold,may feels little heavy during mornings,but it will be ok after riding a few kms.

                    No one messes with it ..

                    Hi..I have just completed 9K,no major issue so far..Just change my engine oil and now using Motul 2040,gear shifting is more smooth and engine is not heating up much than previously.

                    getting meilage around 52..while driving between 40-55km/h.

                    I commute daily 20km..

                      My tachometer needle is acting crazy above 5k rpm. Any solution for this?

                          Got my Hunk today..Drove 6Kms in bangalore traffic from showroom to home.
                          Good:
                          Awesome power at lower RPM's upto 4k rpm..Dont know about higher RPM yet
                          Solid build quality
                          Good Suspension
                          Relaxed Seating position
                          Perfect height for me

                          Bad:
                          Hard gear changes
                          Brakes were not as effective as expected tat too in a dual disc bike
                          Missing engine kill switch and kick rod

                          Overall had a good impression but i found the engine quite hot when i reached home. Is this normal?

                          When do you suggest for 1st oil change? SVC guy said 500-750Kms / 1 month but i think tats quite long and also can you suggest a good brand for engine oil.

                            congrats buddy for ur bike

                            it will take time for ur disc break to come under full effect..be patient..
                            Engine smells BAD and does Heated up very much initialy because at the beginning of its life,it has to undergo a lot of friction from engine counterparts, its normal for the starting few KMs

                            Oil change: as far as i have know, first oil change shud be after 150 Km..

                              Keep your bike below 4000rpm and 40km/h till 1000kms ,for best engine life,keep below 80km/h till 2000kms,and you can give sudden bursts to 100 or after 1000kms for a few seconds,after 500kms,vary your speed from 40-80km/h.

                              and also can you suggest a good brand for engine oil.
                              Mineral oil is the best oil for a settling engine,So complete the run in period with Hero Honda engine oil.

                              Yes,for best engine life,do first service @ 150kms,then at 500kms,then at 1000kms.Flip a few pages back to know about oil change intervals.

                                I dont have any plans of modifications even in future but the only thing i will like to do is get the white rings on the rims as in the new FZ as i feel it will enhance the look of the Red bike. What will be the cost of this? is this done by hand or using some machine?
