i had completed more than 2000kms in 2 months and fuel average is 55-60 kmpl.
max. ihad ridden her @ 100 kmph....feeled some vibrations after 90+kmph.
leve free...ride hard!
, rear number plate light is now LED lit. looks cool. And now i m all set to add throttle controlled Blue flash light, 2On my engine, 1 on frnt tyre and 1 on rear one.will connect it to headlamp circuit so that it works only when accelerated/engine On.
Talking about cost, its around 500 for 5 Mt LED Strip(1 Mt still left),100Rs for 4 Pc blue LED flasher ` 600Rs (excludding soldering and tape work).
AFA odo is concerned i hv cmpleted 900 Kms so far, 1 month or so. never crossed 65,(actually waisi road hi nahi hai yahan pe :P).no vibrations at all.
mostly city riding.initialyy avg was suprisingly 25-30 but now it has increased to 37-40(cumulataive) but effectively it may be its >40. i hope it get somewhere around 45 in cities and 50 in highways if not more

Had my first free service at 644km at MS&S EKM.GEAR change has become very smooth now.I had told them not to play with carb. as I am getting good mileage.There was little oil leakage on front disc, so told them to check,but the fellows did not do any thing . so when I came on road and when I had to brake suddenly, bike was not stopping (oil & and water from washing)made the disc slippery .Only because of my experience and grace of God, I changed gears suddenly to 1st and escaped a hit. next problem faced was engine switched off every now and then when we reduce throttle.so checked the idle RPM which was very less so changed it to thousand five hundred while riding itself.After reaching home(only 6 km ride) I cleaned both the discs with white cloth and loo so much oil and dirt. This is free service.... .Today I did not ride, tomorrow I will check the brakes again . if still leaking I myself will take it out and see. oh another observation also to pen , good vibration felt on handle bars from 40 to 60km speed after service.Will check every thing tomorrow.

Hi guys!!
Finally all done,thats widout much of problem,my cbz is now XTRMEly sexy. its so eye catching, everybody has his mouth open after watching it. Love to c their reaction... Overall Mod done :
1)Front Pilot Lamp Changed to Green (LED)
2)Green Light Inside both Tank Side Flaps
1 and 2 Are front pilot lamp controlled.
3)Green Light Surrounding Tail Light
4)Number Plate Light Changed To White LED Strip
5)White Light Under rear Split Seat
3 to 5 are Rear pilot lamp controlled(ON when Pilot lamp is ON)
6)Green Light In the both side panels (Brake Light Controlled).
Hope u wud have liked my mod.Lemme know in case of any help regarding the same..

Motul 3000 4T plus 10w30 / 20w40 .. good mineral oils . Good idea to stick to pure mineral-oil until 10k kms atleast . Change your oil at every 1.5k - 2k kms max and drain the old oil hot . Like you I too didn't like the HH 10w30(bpcl) oil .. hot & harsh engine... so I am running on motul 3000 4T plus 20w40 now .. very happy with it this whole summer
. Will change to gulf pride 10w30 in winter since I got a few bottles of it left over .
yes man...u re abbsolutely right....hot and harsh engine....that makes me even more worried abt it sometimes....
i went to th motul ka website n saw 3000 4T plus 10w30/20w40....but should one use 20w40 grade oil in th cbzx cauz th recommended oil is of 10w30 grade....do u think its ok to use 20w40 instead...?
i feel that 20w40 should be better in th hot conditions as 10w30 will be a thinner oil when th engine is hot..making th engine more vulnerable to wear n tear while revving up n all..m goin to buy th oil in a couple of days...so got to decide on it asap...

Keep hot time idle RPM to1500 also.
Try this one or two times .
(not more than 90 degrees) This is for lower range ie speed upto 50 km.
*If you drive at more than 60 always . there is a needle valve inside the carb for mid range bring the needle down by one slot.(five slots will be there)the slot towards top end ( this will affect top speed i.e. .a reduction of 5km/hr)

Sit by the right side of your bike just under the petrol tank you can see the carb with a plastic cover and a projecting knob ( this is the idle speed adj.) Now watch care fully the body of the carb you can see a small hole in which a screw is embedded. this is the air ratio screw . ohh, i have seen that Plastic Cover thing,IDLE RPM screw popping outta it, so i m supposed to open that cover and slowly turn that screw. So does it mean changing from 10W30 to 20W40 will affect my mileage? :O. Aside this it would be really helpful if any experieced guy(like most of u) let us know how to fine tune our carb step by step(In cbz xtreme obviously).
