Take it to the SVC and get the focus adjusted.

        I also faced the same problem. I replaced the Headlight Bulb to Phillips. The Bulb which comes along with the bike is Osram. The light output is pretty low in that.

        Also adjusted the focus. The headlight was focussed to Sky.. So that UFO would find it... Yamaha India would have thought that "sky is the limit" atleast for this headlight. I strongly feel that PDI was not done to the standards.

        I asked the svc to focus to earth.. Then it was made "down to earth". Issue fixed. They charged Rs 50 for replacing the stock bulb. This happened in the first week itself.

          Hey by the way today i bought a tank pad here in mangalore for Rs.350. i am really suprised by the quality. its not carbon fibre... but its a rubber kinda a material . fixed it on my tank . will post pics tomorrow. its too dark now to take a nice pic...

          EDIT: just now was going through google images. found one similar but its got 'YAMAHA' written on it [IMG][/IMG]

            @Athul

            post some pics of tire in bike and different views.

            • Whats is the current price of SZ-R in Karnataka

              Greeting to all xBhp members. This is my first post. I am very new to bikes also. I have been driving TVS XL Super from past 11 years. Now I want to buy a new bike. I am very much interested in buying SZ-R and last week visited Yamaha showroom at my place Shimoga district, Karnataka. They said on-road price will be 70.5K. Ex-showroom price according to Yamaha site is 56K. I think the on-road price is too high. Please tell me the most recent price in Karnataka. I may be purchasing in a week or two.

              Thanks and regards

                  Thanks for the reply bro. I wonder why the price is so high here? But I guess SZ-R is worth it. What do you say? Also as I mentioned I don't have much experience with gear bikes. Will SZ-R be a good choice for me? I hope I can learn proper gear shifting in a few days.

                          • I called yamaha showroom regarding the rates again. As athulbenoy said the tax and registration fee here is much more than Bangalore and Mangalore. I trust you guys and YAMAHA for sure. So at max, this month end, I'll be having my own SZ-R. Do you suggest any mandatory accessories other than crash guard and engine guard?
