    • Got my SZR Blue-Silver on March 30th.
First service was done at 620km. Did not check mileage then.

Soon after service I found difficulty in pushing my bike in neutral. My front wheel wouldn't rotate freely to complete one full revolution. Actually, it is so tight that it will turn only some 30-40 degrees. I thought it was the brake pad.

Took to SVC. They also said some problem is there. Took 2 days to study and fix it (2 days, I don't care. They seemed to fix it). When I got it back the wheel was not as tight as it was before. It rotated 1-1.5 turns freely.
But now, at 1446kms, the problem reappeared! My 2nd service is scheduled on 8th July. I'm considering whether to push on till then or visit SVC tomorrow itself.

I would like advice here, about what the problem could be. Disc brakes sre tight at first, but tight till 1440+ km?

Now when I try to rotate wheel while on centre stand, I can hear noise of pad rubbing on rotor (disc). Maybe dirt due to ride during rain, but I washed the bike the very next day!!!

Mileage in city is between 43-46 kmpl. Never goes on highway on my routine.

0-1000 km : Rode @ 40kmph , 4000rpm. Occasional burst to 50kmph @ 4500 rpm for <5 seconds, to overtake a bus (the same bus on my routine path ).
      1000-1440km : Riding @ 45-50kmph, 4000rpm. Occasional burst to 60kmph @ 5000 rpm for <10 seconds, while encountering empty stretches.

Apart from this tight front wheel, the bike is good. Not much happy about mileage, but friends who've bikes said to wait till 3rd service/ 5000 km. Their advice: Keep yourself controlled, push bike to 100+kmph speeds after odo counts 5000+. I'm following it...

They look nice! How much did they cost? I would fit Michelin / MRF tubeless once I am done with TVS.

I have done couple of tours on SZ-R and boy o boy this 'City Commutor' can be used for touring as well. Low end torque pulls bike on ghat section like a butter! No engine stress! No vibs at all at high speeds of 90+ kmph.

Today completed about 150 kms of tour, no riding fatigue even though road were bumpy. Completely satisfied with performance of my steed.

Did not calculate the mileage but still it should be above 45 kmpl

I ripped the bike above 50-60 kmph all the time, showed no mercy at all. and No green zone riding at all but i rode bike in 5th gear all the time, I am on 5th gear at the speed of 30 kmph

TVS tyre performance is good, no sliping or skiding thanks to xbhp braking tips in art of riding safe thread, guys do read that braking thread, its damn helpful! Also tried some leaning it was comfortable. I will go to Lavasa to practice leaning

Riding on highway is comfortable, but cross winds irritates due to lack of aerodynamic shape.

I will post some pics later.

                    Cheers!
