I guess you are talking about fork. My front fork got bent in an accident and it cost me around 1.2K to get it fixed.

ps: pl dont use bold letters

            • I haven been there... I have heard good reviews before though... I would suggest posting this on both the FZ and the R15 threads... As more people frequent those threads... Hence u'll have more chances of getting feedback about bangalore wheels....

Yes sir. Changed to agip 5w40 and rode to Maddur and back. Its too early to say but I feel that throttle resp has improved even while the engine is still warming up, drag due to engine braking has reduced, vibs at 90+ speeds is negligible now.

Touched 105 on flat road and 112 on a decline. both speeds recorded by my friend on his new P220

The person at Orion motors told me that this oil is good for 8000kms? Can you confirm?

Also carb is pretty well tuned, but its not 100% perfect. My Gladi doesnt have a tacho, so carb tuning all by myself is pretty difficult. Any thoughts?

Please don't call me sir... I am only 21... N surely too early to say... You will feel the advantage of having synthetic oil when you reach like 2000km n your bike still feels smooth n throttle response etc still very crisp...

N the oil might be good for 8000km... I'll confirm when i remove my oil in my next service which will be in a few days... I'm removing it this time at 4000km so i'll no if it was good to go for more... I tune my bike using the tacho sometimes... I feel it'll be much harder to tune without one... Let it be for now... But if you do wanna learn n try to tune your bike yourselve then do it... Its very satisfying i must admit when you finally get it even close to right... N even if you don a mech is always close by....

Btw... Which model do you have??

                      • Hi Prashanth

I feel my bike would have been a old lot and standing in the factory outlets for a long time enough for the tubes to get weakened.. why should it reduce 6-7 points in 3 odd days... the service guys say pl wait till 1st service n they will look into the problem..

do u got any idea abt the speedo needle not being proper in my bike... it is improper n moves with difficulty as speed increases.... does it mean the spring is weak inside.???

                        Comment

                        • ^^^I don no about the speedo needle not being proper in the bike... For me i remember that the speedo was working well when i i first got it...

Now it shakes and shivers a bit because i had messed around with my speedo in the beginning to put leds in... Results was not too good so reverted back to normal bulbs... Have to take mine to those meter guys to get it fixed...

When i use the Horn with one of the Turn indicators engaged either left or right.. the horn sound gets distorted as if there was a power fluctuation... any such experience in your vehicle?? if yes... hwo to address it?
The simultaneous operation of both controls together is not a pleasent one
I tried a self start once and it happens without a hitch.. looks like the battery charge is fine

actually the gladiator bike's horn is a bit scooterish type. So tat y it is happening.
U r getting this kind of sound with only the indicator on but i was facing this prob anytime i use the horn.
U better change it to the pulsar horn. Trust me I hav also done so & i am not facing any such kind of problem.
