^^^ mike: I was totally gobsmacked for a second there. I was literally ROFL .
muztariq: No offence mate. But the humour was injected in a light vein. I know we all try to help others, that's what I like about this forum. But for the person to actually quote and verify whether he has gained mileage by installing dual horns is something way beyond my grey matter to process

do i have to get the battery upgraded?
or is there some issue with the relay?

I'm curious as I want to install dual horns as my friends tell me that since they put dual horns on their rides they have increased mileage.
ariendj never asked about mileage in his quote.. It was intentionally put up just to make fun..

I personally like to join the fun.. but the fun should not be at anyone's expense.

And what value addition are the subsequent posts adding to the thread.. some mentioned here..

Sounds weird.

Dual horns just make louder sound, have nothing to do with the milage or anything else..

i had joelled my ride around the same time and im sure there is a marginally share of bump in mileage due to it.
not sure whats the science between dual horns and mileage increase.
Just wasted the thread.. Is this funny by any dimensions?

Man.. Not everyone here is stupid, who would link horns to the mileage..
if someone is making fun of others, just don't give him any response.. The mods are very efficient here to notice that..

and in between, if a sensible man says something that interests you n is right, then whats wrong in asking.. Now that's not the same thing as being fooled by someone..

Ride safe and have fun.

And such things are not good
This page is about bikes and the how we care about our bike..
let's stick to that only..

Its a humble request to all members to keep the queries related to the main topic of the thread: the bike..
and don't go on calling names n all.. Its an insult to our biking spirit which doesnot know things like that..

Has anybody noticed some changes in the new Fazers? They have twin accelerator cables, which was not there in the previous lots. Also, the rear grab rails are designed differently. People who have any idea please comment on it.

@All: Besides serious talks sometimes a little humour is welcome. Rather than making a big deal out of it if we can understand the humour and not be touchy about it, I believe it would healthy for the thread.Mik You are always welcome to throw in a bit of your one liners to liven up the thread.

MY new FZ has black handle bars and they are quite strong! About Twin Accelerating cables, cant comment! FZ Newb rider!
BTW Loving my FZ. It is such an easy ride for the newbies and sprightly too. Easy to swerve in traffic. The best choice I Ever made.
Thanks alot to all of you who suggested me this ride.

The twin cables are there for safety. The traditional way of the single cable and a return spring are outdated and not upto some countries standards.
So Yamaha have gone with dual cables.

1 cable opens and other closes.
Before anyone gets upset, No the extra cable doesn't give you any power/mileage gains, Just like having dual horns doesn't give you better mileage
