Confirm with the seniors about the same.

Personally have been using Motul for chain lubrication.

Have heard that the OKS chain spray is cheaper.

oks can of 100 ml costs 165 bucks.
tvs can of 400 ml costs 350 bucks
rolon can of 120 ml costs 140 bucks.
motul chain cleaner & lube costs 1050 bucks.

FZ chain costs 773 bucks. along with sprocket, it costs 1141 bucks.
Now the obvious question.... are we not spending more to save a comparatively inexpensive product?
I mean to say that if I use ep 90 which is neglibly priced (500 ml costs only 81 bucks) which can be used for a long time, and assuming that its not as good as good brand chain spray, my chain would last 30k kms. & then I may replace the chain altogether rather than spending the same amount on protecting the old chain!
    Doesn't it make more sense?

    Yes....even I feel ep 90 is a good chioce.
Regarding the cleaning portion, I guess first we should clean with a cloth & then clean with petrol or diesel. Not sure about kerosene though
I also own a Pulsar 150 which has a covered chain. My mechanic used to clean the chain with kerosene first & then flush the kerosene with petrol!

Overheating? Do you mean excessive heat produced? Check the oil level. When was the last oil change? And what does lag mean?

might be the afr. Check the plug condition. Chances are you are running very lean , explains the oveheating and the drop in performance. Get it to optimum mix from a good tuner.

After one week, had 2 punctures at same time!
Is the back tire so less durable? Performance is great. But sometimes it vibrates after crossing 4K RPM. Is it normal during Run-in??
Mileage till now has been very good. Around 40-42, as per my vague calculation. Will check till it goes down to reserve and tell ya.

It's the high performance cable you should get installed along with the iridium spark plug.
I've heard of people noticing a difference when they installed the splitfire cable after running on the stock cable and the iridium plug for a while, but I installed them both together, so can't comment on necessity.

2.Can it be installed on my bike?my mechanic infact two of them never heard of something of that kind and said it is not necessary.

Yes, the installation is quite easy, you just replace the original cable. The splitfire cable is a thick blue wire with adapters at each end.

3.Where can i get it in pune?or online?

I'm from Kochi. I got it from a Hyosung showroom nearby..why don't you try there?

After installing the iridium plug and the splitfire cable,
I felt the bike starts up very fast, it hasn't failed to start until now. The initial has increased noticeably. I didn't find any change in mileage.

FZ's have soft compound tyres, and as this is summer the hot asphalt makes the rubber even softer which in turn makes the tyre more prone to puntures..
about the durability, i'm on stock tyre and has been more than 18 months.. So you can say apart from a few more puntures than normal, its very durable and would give you excellent grip..

and as for the vibrations, during the run in period, the lesses rpm range would feel heavy.. These are not vibrations.. Don't take much tension..

                          Ride safe and have fun.

Yes the tyre is a problem.I have 14 punctures after 8500kms of riding. Use it,but do keep a check on the tyre by checking air whenever u fill petrol. Just love the grip of the revz.

                                Hi,
I'm not too sure about the tyre compound of Fz, but I do not agree with summer reason. There is a lot goes into making a automotive tyre than just a rubber.
I rode to Bangalore from Mumbai in May heat with 2 years old tyre, not a single puncture or blowout or air pressure drop. From my personal experience, the main cause of puncture is incorrect air pressure. I once rode with very low air pressure & instantly got 6 punctures in my rear tire. Fixed them & since then not a single puncture in the rear tyre. I usually check air pressure once a week or alternate.
                                Regards,
                                Abhijit
