Just confirmed with the friend who uses the fz
It used give slight jerks initially when the RTR carb was installed and he thought that petrol was in reserve(but it's not)
So the calculation of mileage was wrong
Now it returns around 42-44kmpl with slight loss in initial pick up

Got brake pads,brake shoes and clutch cable changed @ 21000 kms for the first time at ASC .Not changing chain yet though chain at maximum.i went there just for rear brakes shoe.But clutch was too tight when bike was trial run by ASC mechanic,on his recommendation clutch cable was changed and the older one was broken [emoji15] [emoji15] .

Worn out parts pics to follow.

PS:I noticed one disc pad was more worn out than the other.slight khir khir sound coming from brake which was not there.mechanic said it will go away in a few hundred kms.

Hi! friends i'm facing a weird problem with my fzs. On hard braking engine stops and it takes long time to start using self start. Hard braking like when you see a speed braker and u just hit brakes suddenly. It feels same as when bike is just on the verge of using reserve.

I think you are on lean air fuel mixture, tuneup the carburetor.

Check your choke cable, when my choke cable outer layer broke it started to engage the choke everytime I turn right or brake hard.

On potholes my bike's headlight strucks with mudguard. I want to use motul 20w,bhow much fork oil should i put in one side?
After changing piston kit and when breaking period is over which oil should i use 300v 20w50, 7100 20w50 or 7100 10w50. I want longest drain period and please do tell the drain period.

Aakash if you are planning to use fully synthetic oil, you can never go back to mineral oil. Try to stay with manufacturer specific 20w40 or 20w50. I personally change the oil a bit prematurely once every two months. Furthermore, it all depends on how much you ride. So even if you leave the bike unused for months you must change the oil once every six months.

The thing with long drain duration is not possible with the current oil technology for bikes, as they are high revving engines unlike most of the cars. So if you push for 10000 kms per change, you can say goodbye to your engine.

With 50kms per day riding, you can't go over two months, any motorcycle engine oil!

The best oil I've found myself to be happy with is by Motul.
