Yes I know u mentioned, i was not aware that disc should not be applied with grease, i just did as it was making noise but never doing again. Thanks again.

if still doesnot help buy a sandpaper no 200 or 400 from paint seller or any hardware shop for 10rs as you need only small portion of it. after replaing your disc pad rub that sandpaper on disc PLATE (that circular disc attached to the wheel) in a circular motion equaly on entire plate with light force. as you only have to put some scratches on that shining disc which have small holes rub it on both sides. thats it and be cautious while braking till first 100km.s after doing this. Don't rub it hard as it make break you disc plate in case of emergency or hard breaking conditions and life will be at risk.

If this was happened means you drove your bike with less or burnt engine oil don't go for long drive with oil engine oil which has been used for 2000km specially on new engines for older engines 4000km engine oil change is the limit for new oil if want to go for long drive or as per the manufacturer manual
My air filter got blocked by a plastic bag. And the engine couldn't breathe enough air. The more I accelerated, the more air deficiency it suffered and dropped acceleration.

Thank you so much for your guidance and help. This is why I love xBhp. The people here are too good.

I have a lame query to all the owners of tgr carb version of the FZ out there !

Is the following the same with everyone ? Or is it just me ?

I find the following levels of headlights intensity to be present

Dipper > high beam > low beam.

If the above is as expected , then is it safe to alter the connections to have High beam with same intensity as the dipper switch?

Mine is a 2013 carb version FZ

There's this small issue with my bike. At higher RPM or 90+ speed, thought I keep the speed constant, the bike pulls itself back a few times and then quickly get back to constant speed. Experiences kind of a small drop in power for a second or so. This happens every time at 90+ speed. Any guess what the problem might be?

Dipper = High beam + low beam

So , altering the High beam switch to throw both the High+Low Beams together will drain my battery more then? and hence would not be recommended?

Asking this because I just find it perfect this way , otherwise the high beam isn't really helping me see the near road much.

I assume your query is resolved already? An unclean or blocked air filter seems to be the culprit in most cases.

Yes. Air filter was the villain in my case too. Thank you so much.

Low brightness for headlamp issue... Something we all face. Please share the most appropriate solution guys.

                        1. Installing a higher W bulb?
                        2. Installing projector HID Setup?
                        3. LED?

Will any of the above affect the bike's battery ? What's the solution? Please advice...! TIA

I think fzs reflector is not made for led. Once i've used 60w bulb, brightness was good but it end up ruining my whole bike it blew up console, itself and rf(charging unit) what ever it's called.

Recently I noticed that sometimes bike runs smooth at 45-55(low engine sound) sometimes engine sound turns bassy after 45-50 even. Is that normal?

                              Hi

I have a 2011 Fazer. I am considering a 15 teeth front sprocket. I mostly ride in the city, with occasional touring.

For someone who has tried this, had a few questions. Would be grateful if you could answer them.

                              1. Will the drop in initial acceleration be very significant for city driving, esp if there was a pillion?

                              2. Is there significant reduction in engine strain for long highway stretches at higher speeds? I remember the engine getting very stressed after around 95kmph on bangalore-hyd highway.

                              3. How is the performance in case of hilly/ghat terrain (in case you tested it n such place)? Does it reduced frequent downshifts?

                              4. Are 15T front sprockets of Unicorn, Pulsar 150/180 available separately or do we have to buy the whole chain sprocket set

                              Thanks

Just service the bike and do not replace the oil. Go buy Motul 300v or Motul 7100 10W40 Engine oil and keep riding until engine oil gets old 5000km (300v) or 4000km (7100) and pour it, also make sure replace the Oil Filter (from the Yamaha SVC). Yamalube Sporty Premium is not good compared to Motuls.

Shocks do sound while braking or while sudden falling on potholes?

                                Loose hands? don't know.

Just warm up for 1 minute in summer morning & 2 minute in winter morning and ride.
For the second service itself you are suggesting to go for motul, don't you think it gonna void his warranty!
