Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
First time it got broken at the clutch lever side, but during the last two it was near the engine side.Originally posted by Aakash Singh View PostI change the clutch cable after every 15km, to be on the safe side. Because when i press the lever i can feel the wire is about to break.
Yes monsoon plays a role but breaking that frequent is not acceptable. From which side it breaks lever side or engine side.

Try clutch cable of honda if it fits, my friend had cbr and it has completed around 50k km and he never changed any wire of it when he sold it.Originally posted by kpmfazal View PostFirst time it got broken at the clutch lever side, but during the last two it was near the engine side.
Thanks
Take a look at where it breaks, look anything sharp rubbing there which causes wear. Yamaha's definitely works for around 15k km, may be you had a bad one.

Yamaha ASC had no stock for other Engine oils like Motul, ELF etc, so I had to pour Yamalube FS 10W40.Originally posted by Aakash Singh View PostWhat??????????????????

Brother that link was from 2009
Prices differ now.
They are pricey as I enquired couple of years ago they told me like 17k for disc setup.
I'm looking for any other brands or from any other motorcycle we can equip

I know this was 7years old link but I want to show the daytona kit available for fz. I have no idea about changing disk plate as stock disk plate is very good in 150cc segment.Regards

What exactly do you want to paint?Originally posted by Kartik Shetty View PostHi Guys!,
I'm planning to get my forks painted... Can someone guide me through the process of removing the forks? Is it a diy? Are there any risks involved? The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

Help - Problem with my Yamaha Fazer
Hello Guys,
I own a 2010 Yamaha Fazer, it has clocked 26,000 KM and I am facing some issues with it.
1. I got to replace my Clutch cable 3 times in the last 2 months and the SVC have no clue,
2. The bike has lot of hiccups while riding - the feel is something like you accelerate and it automatically decelerate (though your throttle is all up).
I took my bike to Pearl Yamaha SVC and I told them all problem, but still it is not rectified - kind off frustrating.
Any suggestion or a good mechanic I can find in Hyderabad ?

You can visit any painter in town to do the work done or you can even get it power coated to black.Last edited by kesavRrulez; 08-12-2016, 03:51 AM.

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
Firstly removing the top layer of the old paint, putting a primer is really important. Else the paint will start chipping off very soon. Good quality lacquer is also important. Make sure painting is done indoors.Originally posted by kesavRrulez View PostNo need to remove the old paint bro.

Secondly remove the front tyre and disc brake caliper for painting.
