Removing is not required. I have done it. Just remove the mudguard, tyre and tie the disc brake cable and caliper to the chassis.

I had done it almost 2 years back and now the bike is sold. It had cost around 1400 including paint. Ensure painting technique is right and try to avoid painting on a rainy day.

Did a 600km trip. Was at 90-95kmph for most of the time. Bike never felt strained, nor was there a heating problem. Pretty good for a ~6 year old I guess.
FE was in the early 30s though.

Guys , dont know why I have tappet noise issue. I myself adjusted valves clearance to its stock value with feelar gauges. It is butter smooth for few hundred kilometers, then tappet noise reappear again. I opened cylinder head to see n check valve clearance. I found intake valve clearance has too much clearance. I then , reset it to stock gap 0.12mm ,continue riding. Today, after ten days passed, that tappet noise reappear again.
All engine parts cylinder, piston, rings, rocker arm, valves, cam, cam chain , clutch assembly are newly installed, running about 1500km.
            What I will do?

This is a typical problem with every fz series. If the noise is tik tik (slightly more), check both valves rather.

I too had this problem. Every mechanic said different things and no one has resolved my issue until I met a roadside (platform) mechanic who even doesn't have any shop. He just changed my timing chain tensioner that's it. Spent almost 3 years to resolve this problem. He just finished in minutes. Check your timing chain tensioner. You can remove the small rubber closer and try adjusting it using a flat screw driver. If it works, you can replace that part yourself.

Even yamaha Authorised SVC can't resolve my issue. They said that my bike's piston rings and valves needs to be replaced. The guy who resolved my issue has only one industrial iron suitcase which contains all his tools[emoji4].

Thanks mate for guiding me. I will check tensioner condition and clearance of valves tomorrow. Beside the tappet noise, mileage , pickup are fine.

What's your mileage? I am just getting 30/litre from my 2012 fazer[emoji17]. Recently did a carburettor cleaning. But no improvements.
And can you please show me any DIY pic/video for tappet and valve clearance?

                        Hello everyone,
I ride a 2008 dec Fz16 and have clocked around 20k odd Kms. There's a rear wheel-out and wanted to know if there are any workshops in Bombay where the issue can be fixed. Thank you for your help in advance.

                          Hi guys
For past few days I'm hearing a knocking sound from the engine when I turn on the engine when it's cold and the preformance of the bike seems to be dropped what might be the problem
                          Thanks in advance

                              Hi Guys
After i gave my bike for service, my seat is not getting properly set, I am able lift it on front even back side is locked.
I found this today(i gave it for service 30 days ago), I tried to set it properly but its the same.
Can it be due to some part missing on my seat?

Can someone please post a pic of under the seat and bike without seat from top .

You have to press the seat from front, so that seat grove fits in the metal projection. See seat where the metal projection goes in if not broken.
