guys,...need ur help,..i absolutely love the fz,..im getting a 1 month used red fz,..run 2.5k kms,..for rs 10,000 lesser,..is it a good buy,..pls reply soon,..There is a thin line between adventure and madness,...God must have made me myopic for a reason!!!Comment

Can fz16 be my first bike?
Hey hi guyz,i am wannabe biker. I am seduced by fz16 totally. I dunno to ryd a byk. So can i buy fz16 n learn to ride on it? I m 5ft 9 inch tall but weigh less than 60kgs. Will fz be 2 heavy for me?Hows after sales service of yamaha? I m frm mumbai. Thanks.Comment

Zodyac, WElcome to Xbhp. I am sure the members will help you zero in on a suitable bike.
At the same time, I would request you to post in proper english. This is not like sms, and no one's going to charge you extra if you write ride(and not ryd) and from(and not frm)! It would go a long way in making your posts easy to read for other members. Are we cool?
And as to your query, the Fz-16 feels very light in your hands. You would have no problem in learning to ride on it! The clutch I think is also one of the lightest around. So if you really like it, I say go ahead!RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!

dude even im 5 '9 n less than 60 n bought a Rtr which is a little heavier than Fz. for a few weeks youl feel its heavy but after that ul get used to it.
Fz 16 , n Apache Rtr r both light n good handling bikes n you will learn to ride in no time .
but if ur totally a n00b at riding bikes/scooters n get some sort of a leg guard fitted on ur bike coz repairing a Fz will be a costly affairComment
