which of the three will be better my bike is only 2.3k old so it is still shiny but the middle black part of the tank looks a bit dull sometimes
which of the 3 will be better for my bike and the cost of doing it
Just buy yourself a can of turtle wax regular and wax the bike yourself..the can is 240 Rs. and lasted me 6 months..gonna buy the 500rs liquid polish now and can put up pics of the shine if you want.

dont worry man competition white fazer is a georgeous bike

will the first 1k up shift at 3k
and do not cross 4k in any gear
just have to controll your emotions till the 1k
i have heard that the new lot i mean the 2011 editions
      have better fuel efficency

maintain correct air preassure fill it up with good quality fuel
      dont rip till 1k

If you are sure that you will not cross 1k in 30 days then dont try to
its always better to have an early oil change in run in
if you get your bike serviced before 1k then continue the run in way of driving till 1k
go for the chain lube in 500kms
They have better fuel efficiency, true, but at the cost of torque ..13.6 Nm is the new torque figure on the Yamaha site while older ones were 14Nm

I hate the reduction of torque

        • Bad Days!!

I guess i am having bad days since, yesterday!!

Day1: Bike got picked up for illegal parking, although they have mentioned some weird days of parking on the either side in Bandra but no details where and when!! Anyways, admitting my mistake gave the fine and got me bike back..

Day2: Today some a$$wipe toppled my bike. And just to add more to my frustration, to show that it was not his car who did this, he simply lifted the bike and toppled it to the other side and left!!! i mean WTF!!

Luckily the Front crash guard protected the whole bike from any damage, no scratches.. nothing!! the only thing that took the hit was the right hand side, side plastic weight bar on the handle, few scrapes of plastic missing from it and the front brake, which got turned downwards and the break lever bearing minute scratches.. however just a little bit of pushing, all was hunky and dory!!

My biggest fear was that now the bike's cone set or the handle bar would be damaged, so did a small test of leaving the handle bar while bit on speed on an empty road.. and to my relief she is alright!

However, i won't take any chances and will get everything checked in my next upcoming service. If anything needs to be tweaked or replaced.. will get it done then and there itself.. If i see that car tom again, will give my gratitude by making new use of my bike keys and his car paint!!

          Cheers

I completely understand your frustration buddy, next time try and find space adequate to park only the bike so that no one else hurts her!

Why didn't you just topple him onto his car windshield?

If he was there at the time, I doubt he would have let it happen.

I am using a brand called Formula 1 it cost me 320rs for a box. you also get the applicator when you buy the box inside it itself. you can find it in any car accessory shop.

as i said before interval for wax polish is normally once or twice per month depending on the condition of the bike.

ok so this formula one is both wax and polish mix im confused

I will bwe very happy if you could put the pics of the shine and also the wax box
my main doubt is whether wax and polish are the same
                    and how does both differ

the difference in torque can be experienced only after riding the new edition
my friend has take one i will wait till he finish his bikes first sservice

Wax is something that retains shine. Polish are abrasive that removes scratches and restores paint job. Armorall and Turtlewax are the best brands available.

I use cheaper Formula 1 Scratchout (Polish) and 3M Wax.

Polish is the basic term and you polish your vehicle using wax.

like gold is used in gold polish, nail paint is used in nail polish, similarly wax is used in wax polish.
Rubbing compounds are very hard abrasives (I got 3M FinesseIt for that purpose)

Google Polish vs Wax. We use Polish as common term for both
